Counter-Strike Global Offensive is known for its many weird knives. This one in particular is known for its Gut Hook. The Gut Knife never really managed to compete with its counterparts like the Flip Knife or Huntsman Knife. However, there is always a specific group of people that likes what isn’t necessarily deemed popular. 

The Gut Knife still stayed somewhat relevant due to this, and even though its skins don’t sell for too much, there are a few that are considered top-tier knife skins. 

You have to keep in mind that not all Gut Knife skins are cheap or unpopular like Navaja Knife skins. There are a specific few that sell for a lot of money and are wanted by avid skin collectors. Today’s list won’t really delve that deep, but it’ll show you an objective summary of the more popular Gut Knife CSGO skins.

Gamma Doppler Emerald

The Gamma Doppler Emerald might debatably be the most appealing Gut Knife skin there ever was, and the price definitely reflects such a bold statement. Gamma Doppler knife skins themselves look great, but the prices they went for were somewhat normal when compared to the rest.

Regardless, Gamma Doppler skins can very rarely be unboxed in a unique Emerald phase, and that’s why this specific variation of the Gamma Doppler skin is so expensive. It doesn’t matter whether you buy this in Minimal Wear or Factory New, getting your hands on one is a blessing in and of itself.

Lore

The Gut Knife Lore was added to CSGO on the 15th of June, 2016. It was released as part of the “Gamma Exposure” update, and currently starts at $125 on the Steam Market.

The Lore skin design has always been a very popular choice for knife skins, and that’s mainly due to the fact that it was based on the AWP Dragon Lore skin design.

Although its popularity does stem from another famous skin, the actual design is still intricate enough to deserve our praise. The design covers the blade in the Lore design and then paints the handle in a complementing color. As for conditions, we recommend buying it in either Minimal Wear or Factory New.

Autotronic

The Gut Knife Autotronic was added to CSGO on the 15th of June, 2016. It was released as part of the “Gamma Exposure” update, and currently starts at $130 on the Steam Market.

Many of the Knife Skin designs look generic on the Gut Knife, but the Autotronic skin gives the Gut Knife a more unique look. It doesn’t simply cover the blade, and it uses the curves of the knife in order to complete the Autotronic look.

The Autotronic color scheme looks good on any knife, but we feel like it fits the Gut Knife better than it does on other knives. The great thing about this design in particular, is that the quality doesn’t deteriorate in older conditions, so it doesn’t matter whether you purchase it in Battle-Scarred or Factory New condition.

Black Laminate

This knife skin is a bit different from the usual knife skins we use in our best-of lists, but it deserved a spot because of how well it fits the Gut Knife. It looks like another version of the Vanilla Gut Knife, only it’s much cheaper than the Vanilla version. If you have the additional money to spare, we’d recommend the Minimal Wear or Factory New versions of this knife skin.

What would a list like this be without the famous Crimson Web knife skin? The Crimson Web design will hardly ever be the victim of irrelevancy.

It increases the value of anything it touches, and could be considered one of the most expensive knife skin designs in CSGO. It looks just as great as it does on any other knife, so there should be no complaints there. However, we do recommend you buy it in newer conditions like Factory New or Minimal Wear, because the quality loss is pretty apparent.

Case Hardened

Case Hardened Knife skins always look good because of how random the color pattern can be. And that’s exactly why we added the Case Hardened to this list. The Gut Knife has an exceptionally large blade, similar to the Bowie Knife, and it allows for the Case Hardened pattern to go wild. We’d recommend going with something in between Battle-Scarred and Factory New for this skin.
