Best Karambit Skins in CSGO

The Karambit’s reputation precedes all the other knives, and it’s bound to stay on top for years to come.

The Karambit is more than just a knife, it’s a staple of the multi-million dollar economy that was formed around Counter-Strike Global Offensive skins. There’s no doubt in our minds that this single Knife has some of the most expensive knife skins in the gaming space, and what would a best-of list like this be without such a recognizable knife. The Karambit was released alongside other famous knives like the M9 Bayonet and Flip Knife, but the prices are still higher when it comes to the Karambit. Given how we’ve already covered the cheapest Karambit CSGO skins, today we’re going to be covering the best Karambit CSGO skins.

Doppler Sapphire

The Karambit Doppler Sapphire was added to CSGO on the 8th of January, 2015. It was released as part of the “Full Spectrum” update, and currently starts at $12000 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Getting lost in its color can prove fatal
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $13706(FN) - $15745(MW
  • Drops From: Chroma 1, 2 & 3 Case
  • First Appeared: 8 January 2015

The Doppler series has to be among the most expensive series of digital video game skins, and the Doppler Sapphire phase is an example of just how absurd these prices can get. You can find decent cars for cheaper than this, and we’re aware that only a select few are able to afford such an unnecessary commodity. Even if you disregard the Doppler Sapphire phase, other pure phases such as Ruby and Black Pearl still go for thousands. If you’re willing to spend this much on a knife, then conditions like Factory New or Minimal Wear won’t matter in the slightest.

Fade

The Karambit Fade was added to CSGO on the 14th of August, 2013. It was released as part of the “The Arms Deal” update, and currently starts at $1964 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: This isn't just a weapon, it's a conversation piece - Imogen, Arms Dealer In Training
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $1964(MW) - $2400(FN
  • Drops From: Cases from 2013-2015
  • First Appeared: 14 August 2013

We’ve mentioned how the Karambit itself is the pinnacle of all knives, well the Karambit Fade is another story. This knife skin in particular was and still is very popular amongst YouTubers and skin traders. If you were watching content back in 2015, nearly every content creator would’ve had a Karambit Fade. The Fade pattern can vary, and certain patterns can cost even more than what it regularly costs. Affordability nearly always goes out of the window when any sort of “Fade” skins are mentioned.

Case Hardened

The Karambit Case Hardened was added to CSGO on the 14th of August, 2013. It was released as part of the “The Arms Deal” update, and currently starts at $1964 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: A little color never hurt anyone
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $505(BS) - $680(MW
  • Drops From: Cases from 2013-2015
  • First Appeared: 14 August 2013

As with all Case Hardened knife skins, the main appeal isn’t the actual design in most cases. It all boils down to what type of Case Hardened skin pattern you can unbox or buy. The Blue Gem pattern is responsible for this, and this prompts players to look for bigger blotches of blue when buying Case Hardened knife skins. This is done because Case Hardened skins with more dominant blotches of blue on one side sell for more.

Marble Fade

The Karambit Marble Fade was added to CSGO on the 8th of January, 2015. It was released as part of the “Full Spectrum” update, and currently starts at $1200 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: The blade is made of many colors, but soon it all looks red
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $1300(MW) - $1380(FN
  • Drops From: Chroma 1, 2 & 3 Case
  • First Appeared: 8 January 2015

When compared to other knives, the Marble Fade skin design is much more expensive for the Karambit, and this might be because it looks very similar to certain Doppler phases, which go for thousands of dollars. The design itself is very solid. You can never go wrong with the beautiful marble red, yellow, and blue. If you’re considering buying this, be sure to fish for a somewhat cheaper pattern.

Lore

The Karambit Lore was added to CSGO on the 15th of June, 2016. It was released as part of the “Gamma Exposure” update, and currently starts at $510 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: N/A
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $510(BS) - $1200(MW
  • Drops From: Gamma 1-2 Case
  • First Appeared: 15 June 2016

The Lore skin design is heavily inspired by the famous AWP Dragon Lore design that is hands down the most known weapon skin in CSGO. This is our favorite skin in this list, and that’s mainly because the design is a bit more creative and intricate than the rest. The color pattern is also very similar to the Tiger Tooth skins, which is always a plus. It’s not like we expected it to be cheaper than the previous skins, but Minimal Wear conditions still go for a whopping $1200.

Knife skin prices are always fluctuating. Luckily, there are websites where you can usually find better deals on knife skins. We are partnered with a website like that and it is called Skinport. It's a secure CSGO skin selling and buying site with a 5-star average user rating, many payment methods, and it’s endorsed by CSGO Twitch streamers.

Nearly every player would love to own at least one Karambit knife. But, when you take a look at these absurd prices you start thinking about how Safari Mesh knife skins aren’t that bad after all.
