The M9 Bayonet stands as one of the most memorable and legendary knives ever to bless the CSGO skin community. Alongside knives like the Bayonet and Karambit, it paved the way for many of the newer generations of knives that we see today. Many of the knife skins for the M9 Bayonet cost more than a decent computer, and this is unfortunately the case when you’re looking at the best knife skins in Counter-Strike Global Offensive. With that being said, today we’ll be taking a look at the best skins for the M9 Bayonet.

Slaughter

The M9 Bayonet Slaughter was added to CSGO on the 14th of August, 2013. It was released as part of the “The Arms Deal” update, and currently starts at $440 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Valeria doesn't pay Javier to ask questions... she pays him to pry out answers
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $440(FT) - $700(FN
  • Drops From: Cases from 2013-2015
  • First Appeared: 14 August 2013

The Slaughter skin design has proven to be a highly sought-after design on other knives, but it shines on the M9 Bayonet, and when people think of the design they nearly always imagine it on the M9 Bayonet or Bayonet knives. It’s somewhat similar to the Crimson Web skin, but a Crimson Web M9 Bayonet is much more expensive. Factory New is a bit too much, so Minimal Wear for roughly $590 would be a somewhat better choice.

Damascus Steel

The M9 Bayonet Damascus Steel was added to CSGO on the 8th of January, 2015. It was released as part of the “Full Spectrum” update, and currently starts at $300 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Finally, a weapon strong enough to match your resolve
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $300(FT) - $420(FN
  • Drops From: Chroma 1, 2 & 3 Case
  • First Appeared: 8 January 2015

Both the M9 Bayonet and the regular Bayonet were made for the Damascus Steel design. The Case Hardened skins are similar to this, but Case Hardened M9 Bayonets aren’t very popular and cost more. When it comes to the prices, this knife skin is actually reasonable. You can get yourself a nice Field-Tested Damascus Steel M9 Bayonet for only $300, and Factory New listings aren’t that far off either.

Vanilla

The M9 Bayonet Vanilla was added to CSGO on the 8th of January, 2015. It was released as part of the “Full Spectrum” update, and currently starts at $600 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: N/A
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $600
  • Drops From: Cases from 2013-2015
  • First Appeared: 8 January 2015

Vanilla knife skins are always a hit or miss skin; they can either look great, or wither into obscurity and be overshadowed by the rest. The vanilla M9 Bayonet on the other hand had an advantage from the start, and that advantage was the fact that it is a very famous military knife in our real world.

Doppler

The M9 Bayonet Doppler was added to CSGO on the 8th of January, 2015. It was released as part of the “Full Spectrum” update, and currently starts at $600 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Getting lost in its color can prove fatal
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $600(MW) - $700(FN
  • Drops From: Chroma 1, 2 & 3 Case
  • First Appeared: 8 January 2015

The Doppler skin is more than just one skin, it’s a multi-layered system of phases that have their own patterns. Some Doppler phases like the Black Pearl go for thousands, and others are normally priced. Regardless, any one of the Doppler phases looks great on the M9 Bayonet, so if you’re looking to buy this specific skin, find the cheapest option and roll with it.

Tiger Tooth

The M9 Bayonet Tiger Tooth was added to CSGO on the 8th of January, 2015. It was released as part of the “Full Spectrum” update, and currently starts at $650 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Like the tiger it is rare... like the tiger it is deadly...
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $650(MW) - $670(FN
  • Drops From: Chroma 1, 2 & 3 Case
  • First Appeared: 8 January 2015

The Tiger Tooth is another popular skin for the M9 Bayonet. The design is pretty straightforward, but what mainly attracts players to this knife is the vibrant yellow color. Factory New and Minimal Wear listings on the Steam Market are about the same.

Knife skin prices are very volatile and unpredictable. Luckily, there are websites where you can usually find better deals on knife skins. One particular website like that is called Skinport and they’re our partner. It's a secure CSGO skin selling and buying site with a 5-star average user rating, many payment methods, and is endorsed by plenty of CSGO streamers.

Prices for M9 Bayonet knife skins are comparable to Butterfly Knife and Flip Knife skins, and that’s what makes it a very expensive choice at the end of the day. The good thing about owning a knife like this is the fact that you’re entitled to massive bragging rights, which means you definitely get what you pay for.
