Best R8 Revolver Skins in CSGO

The R8 Revolver isn’t just a weapon in CSGO. It has a very controversial history and image that one has to know before they choose to buy a skin for it. This pistol was released in 2015, and its stopping power was a big surprise to everyone. It had the fire rate of a semi-automatic pistol, yet dealt damage like a Deagle. Even though it suffered from a lot of patches over the years, it still managed to hold on to its controversial reputation. A lot of skins were made for it as a result of this, and today we want to show you the best ones released throughout the years.

Fade

The R8 Revolver Fade was added to CSGO on the 8th of December, 2015. It was released as part of the Revolver Collection, and currently starts at $3.77 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: This isn't just a weapon, it's a conversation piece - Imogen, Arms Dealer In Training

  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Listing: $3.77 (FT) - $12 (FN)

  • Drops From: Revolver Case

  • First Appeared: 8 December 2015

A lot could be said about the famous Fade skin design, and there’s a reason why it’s starting to migrate from knife skins to weapon skins. The first Fade weapon skin was released in 2013 for the Glock-18 alongside knife skins, but it wasn’t really added to any other weapons until 2015 when the R8 Revolver got released. There is another Amber Fade skin variant, but that one isn’t as known.

It’s still a rare design to see on weapons, but Valve has chosen to put it on weapons more frequently than before. Given that this is a Fade skin, the price is naturally going to be higher, so make sure to only get this skin if you avidly use the R8 Revolver.

Soon after the Revolver saw an increase in popularity, Valve followed and added R8 Revolver skins into other collections and cases. The Reboot is one of those skins, and was added just a couple of months after the Revolver’s infamous Christmas debut. Very few may not like the futuristic design and color scheme on an “old school” weapon like this, but it’s generally regarded as a decent R8 Revolver skin.

Crimson Web

The R8 Revolver Crimson Web was added to CSGO on the 8th of December, 2015. It was released as part of the Revolver Collection, and currently starts at $0.08 on the Steam Market.

  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Listing: $0.08 (BS) - $3 (FN)

  • First Appeared: 8 December 2015

Here we have another skin that came out with the actual release of the R8 Revolver, and it’s another very popular skin design. The Crimson Web design is usually seen on knives, but there are a few exceptions like the R8 Revolver Crimson Web that is worth buying. As for the design - the web pattern and red color scheme are pretty simple and don’t require any further explanation. Worn conditions look very battered and scratched, so we’d recommend getting this in either Minimal Wear or Factory New.

Blaze

The R8 Revolver Blaze was added to CSGO on the 22nd of September, 2021. It was released as part of the 2021 Train Collection, and currently starts at $0.60 on the Steam Market.

  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Listing: $0.60(BS) - $0.70 (FN)

  • First Appeared: 8 December 2015

The R8 Revolver Blaze is yet another skin design that first appeared on another weapon, the Deagle to be precise. The Desert Eagle Blaze is one of the most renowned Deagle skins, and given how both of them are similar in terms of stopping power, Valve decided to make a skin for the R8 Revolver as well. However, the Revolver variant is really cheap when compared to the Deagle one. Lastly, it only comes in two conditions: Minimal Wear and Factory New.

Individual prices will always depend on what conditions they are in and what stickers they have. That is why we’d recommend using our esteemed partner's website called Skinport to buy skins. It is a safe CS:GO skin selling and buying site with 5-star average user reviews, a wide variety of payment options and popular CSGO streamers who choose to endorse it.

This long-range killing machine brought a lot of notoriety with it, and all of the R8 Revolver skins currently on the market can’t escape that shadow. It’s not all too useful in-game, but it is still a piece of CSGO history. We hope you enjoyed our list of the best R8 Revolver skins, make sure to check out our best-of lists on the CZ75-Auto and Tec-9 as well.
