Ever since 2014, the Butterfly Knife swept across the Counter-Strike Global Offensive skins scene as one of the most desired knives to own. 

It gained popularity quickly, and became the main knife for many CSGO content creators and weapon skin traders alike. 

Its reputation remained dominant, but as the years went on and more knife skins and designs were released, it only grew in popularity and price. In terms of prices, the Butterfly Knife is in the same league as the M9 Bayonet and Karambit Knife.

The Urban Masked design is popular among lower-tier skins, and it’s the perfect design for a budget knife. It doesn’t matter which skin you put on the Butterfly Knife, it continues to retain its status and looks simply beautiful. You’d be wasting money if you got this in Factory New or Minimal Wear condition. This design is known to bring down the price of any knife, but that isn’t as prevalent with this knife.

The Scorched design paints the weapon in black and beige colors, creating spots that somewhat look like camouflage. It’s one of the better cheap options for the Butterfly Knife because of how well the black spots complement the design of the knife itself. This knife skin is definitely worth picking up.

Stained

The Stained skin is one of the best knife skin designs for cheaper knife alternatives. The actual design that covers it doesn’t wear and tear in lower conditions, so the only thing you’re sacrificing is the color. It was either the Safari Mesh variant or this, but the Stained design is better and costs only $15 more.

The Boreal Forest is another cheap and decent design that will allow you to own a Butterfly Knife. Unlike the Forest DDPAT, this has a proper military camouflage pattern, and it looks good enough on a knife like this.
