Cheapest Famas Skins in CS2

The famed FAMAS has a rich history in the Counter-Strike universe, and its status is what spawned an equally rich amount of cheap and good weapon skins.

Cheapest Famas Skins in CS2

There are a fair few assault rifles like the FAMAS that just elevate Counter-Strike games. The FAMAS serves a very important role as the last line of defense against high tier weapons like the AK-47 and M4.

It’s cheaper than the M4A4 and M4A1-S, but still has the ability to deliver accurate stopping power, which is why it’s such a favorite choice for half buy rounds.

Even if it isn’t a half buy round, players whose economy was badly damaged still have a fighting chance because of the FAMAS’ in-game price. This is all due to its low recoil and high accuracy, but what separates it from the other rifles is the lower damage.

When it comes to skins, the FAMAS received a lot of skins through CS2’s cases. Unfortunately, many of them are quite expensive, but that isn’t the point of today’s list. The point was to compile a list of the cheapest, but still good-looking FAMAS skins for you.

Sergeant

The FAMAS Sergeant was added to CS2 on the 20th of February, 2014. It was released as part of the Phoenix Collection, and currently starts at $1.00 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Lead by example
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $1.00(BS) - $2.56(MW)
  • Drops From: Operation Phoenix Weapon Case
  • First Appeared: 20 February 2014

The Sergeant weapon skin has a geometric stripe pattern, with a gray, beige and khaki color scheme. This skin used to be very popular in 2014 but has recently lost its popularity in-game.

This skin doesn’t come in factory new, but worse conditions don’t really wear and tear a lot. Field-tested for $1.16 would be the perfect balance for this skin.

ZX Spectron

The FAMAS ZX Spectron was added to CS2 on the 22nd of September, 2021. It was released as part of the Operation Riptide Collection, and currently starts at $0.43 on the Steam Market.

2

  • Description: Clive would be proud
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.43(BS) - $3.25(FN)
  • Drops From: Operation Riptide Case
  • First Appeared: 22 September 2021

The design of this skin was supposed to resemble a vintage gaming console. Putting that aside, the minimalistic design fits really well with the color scheme it has.

The way all of the multi-coloured accents complement the matt black overall paint is stunning. Field-tested for $0.53 is our recommended choice with this skin.

Decommissioned

The FAMAS Decommissioned was added to CS2 on the 18th of October, 2019. It was released as part of CS20 Collection, and currently starts at $0.07 on the Steam Market.

3

  • Description: If found please return to Cedar Creek Nuclear Power Plant
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.07(BS) - $0.45(FN)
  • Drops From: CS20 Case
  • First Appeared: 18 October 2019

This skin is a reference to the Cedar Creek Nuclear Power Plant which appears in Counter-Strike 1.6. The skin contains images of objects scattered around the aforementioned map. It’s a really cheap skin and offers a nice amount of nostalgia, so factory new would be our recommended choice.

Survivor Z

The FAMAS Survivor Z was added to CS2 on the 17th of September, 2015. It was released as part of the Shadow Collection, and currently starts at $0.14 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: What's red and white and fires full auto?
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.14(BS) - $0.50(FN)
  • Drops From: Shadow Case
  • First Appeared: 17 September 2015

The Survivor Z skin heavily leans toward a post-apocalyptic design. The red and gray mix of colors really give it that apocalyptic vibe, the white scratches are just the cherry on top. Factory new is really cheap and offers the best quality.

Djinn

The FAMAS Djinn was added to CS2 on the 15th of April, 2015. It was released as part of the Chroma 2 Collection, and currently starts at $1.70 on the Steam Market.

5

  • Description: Be careful what you wish for
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $1.70(WW) - $7.80(FN)
  • Drops From: Chroma 2 Case
  • First Appeared: 15 April 2015

The Djinn is the most expensive skin on this list. What you have to keep in mind however is that the lower quality conditions only gain a darker overall shade, so even battle-scarred and well-worn versions don’t look as worn out. Buying the cheapest well-worn option for this skin is recommended.
