Cheapest Galil AR Skins in CSGO

The Galil AR has a big inventory of skins behind it, and today we’re showcasing the cheaper options.
Cheapest Galil AR Skins in CSGO

The Galil AR was always in fierce competition with the FAMAS in Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Even though it’s a bit worse than the FAMAS statistically, it still managed to come in handy for countless T-side players.

It’s one of the cheapest assault rifles in the game, but the high fire rate and recoil is what usually deters players from using it. Another not so encouraging fact is that it lacks accuracy at longer ranges, and that it doesn’t one shot headshot enemies. What is encouraging however is the fact that it has 35 rounds in the magazine and pretty decent penetrative power.

It’s best used during half buy rounds, but it still should be treated as a viable option for players with not enough money for an AK-47 during full buy rounds.

Similar to the FAMAS, the Galil AR has a lot of skins throughout various CS:GO cases. Many of those skins are bad and lack creativity, but there are some that are both cheap and creative. That balance between cheap and cool is exactly what today’s list wants to achieve.

Firefight

The Galil AR Firefight was added to CS:GO on the 27th of April, 2016. It was released as part of the Chroma 3 Collection, and currently starts at $0.27 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Booth had this weapon commissioned for Valeria in an attempt to smooth things over with the Phoenix
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.27(BS) - $1.80(FN)
  • Drops From: Chroma 3 Case
  • First Appeared: 27 April 2016

The Firefight weapon skin takes inspiration from firefighters and fire stations. The red, black and gray color scheme fits the weapon as a whole.

This is hands down one of the best clean skins in CS:GO, and a minimal wear version($0.60) of it is the best medium between cheap and clean.

Tuxedo

The Galil AR Tuxedo was added to CS:GO on the 1st of May, 2014. It was released as part of the Bank Collection, and currently starts at $0.90 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: For when combat is a black tie affair
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.90(BS) - $2.20(FN)
  • Drops From: In-game
  • First Appeared: 1 May 2014

There’s not a lot to say about the Tuxedo. The design is pretty straight-forward - the barrel and receiver are white, with the remaining parts being black.

As the name suggests, the colors resemble a tuxedo. It would be best to buy this in factory new, but minimal wear goes for $1.77 and is still decent.

Signal

The Galil AR Signal was added to CS:GO on the 6th of December, 2018. It was released as part of the Danger Zone Collection, and currently starts at $0.38 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Information is never free
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.38(BS) - $1.00(FN)
  • Drops From: Danger Zone Case
  • First Appeared: 6 December 2018

This skin is all over the place, and it would be futile to list the design’s various patterns. The most attractive attributes of this skin are the vibrant colors and seamless pattern transitioning.

Worse weapon conditions shake the patterns up quite a bit, so you’ll have to individually inspect each skin to see which pattern suits you. Factory new is still your best bet however.

Stone Cold

The Galil AR Stone Cold was added to CS:GO on the 17th of September, 2015. It was released as part of the Shadow Collection, and currently starts at $1.00 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: Eventually you need to step outside of your mentor's shadow
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $1.00(BS) - $5.15(FN)
  • Drops From: Shadow Case
  • First Appeared: 17 September 2015

The Stone Cold skin has a very organized and clean design. The way certain shapes and stripes in the geometric pattern are painted in blue, and others in gray really gives life to this skin. Field-tested goes for about $1.20, and it still looks nearly as good as factory new. This would be our favorite skin in this list due to how popular it is in-game.

Chromatic Aberration

The Galil AR Chromatic Aberration was added to CS:GO on the 3rd of May, 2021. It was released as part of the Snakebite Collection, and currently starts at $1.65 on the Steam Market.

  • Description: (Not so) easy on the eyes...
  • Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $1.65(BS) - $8.80(FN)
  • Drops From: Snakebite Case
  • First Appeared: 3 May 2021

The main part of this design includes a purple and pink Zebra pattern, with all of the parts having a chromatic aberration effect. It’s the cheapest classified weapon skin for the Galil AR, and we felt it was worth a mention because field-tested versions only go for $2.22 and still look presentable. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t snag a classified skin like this if you have a bit more to spare.
