The MP5 submachine gun was both in Counter-Strike Source and 1.6, but Valve is very picky when it comes to adding new weapons to their beloved Counter-Strike Global Offensive. So naturally once the MP5-SD variant was released in 2018 for CS:GO the community was pleasantly surprised. This weapon didn’t really go through many changes throughout its lifetime.

Although it’s no assault rifle, it’s definitely on par with them in terms of accuracy. What it definitely misses is damage output against armored opponents, and that’s why it’s one of the least used SMGs in-game.

Agent

The MP5-SD Agent was added to CS:GO on the 18th of October, 2019. It was released as part of the CS20 Collection, and currently starts at $0.38 on the Steam Market.

The Agent is a one of a kind nostalgic weapon skin, and we’re not surprised it came from the CS20 Case. The design includes the FBI’s corporate colors, with the word FBI being inscribed on the receiver. Minimal wear for $0.81 is your best option here, but worse conditions look fine as well.

Condition Zero

The MP5-SD Condition Zero was added to CS:GO on the 3rd of December, 2020. It was released as part of the Broken Fang Collection, and currently starts at $0.07 on the Steam Market.

The Condition Zero is another nostalgic skin of sorts. The name refers to the game Counter-Strike Condition Zero, and the design also takes inspiration from Condition Zero’s color palette. Unless you’re on a really tight budget, factory new shouldn’t hurt your wallet as much.

Desert Strike

The MP5-SD Desert Strike was added to CS:GO on the 31st of March. It was released as part of the Prisma 2 Collection, and currently starts at $0.06 on the Steam Market.

The Desert Strike series of skins is nearly always a hit or miss for weapons in CS:GO. Regardless, it actually makes for a decent MP5-SD skin, and the prices are really cheap. There would be no reason not to purchase this weapon in factory new.

Gauss

The MP5-SD Gauss was added to CS:GO on the 13th of March, 2019. It was released as part of the Prisma Collection, and currently starts at $0.27 on the Steam Market.

The Gauss design is mainly centered around textured metal. But the orange and copper paint around the handles is what complements the gray metal paint. This is another one of those skins where lower conditions only attain a darker shade instead of wear and tear. Field-tested is our recommended condition choice for this skin.

Kitbash
