Feel like boosting your Steam Inventory with a fancy CSGO skin, but your wallet is a bit empty at the moment? Don't worry, we have a list of the best weapon skins you can get in CSGO for less than $5!
AWP Atheris (Minimal Wear) | $4.86

- Added: March 14th, 2019
- Quality: Restricted
Let's not kid ourselves; the mass of you here just came for the fancy-looking AWP skin, so let's not drag this out and start with that!
AWP Atheris is one of the best skins we got in Prisma Case, and every sniper who doesn't have ambitions to own Dragon Lore should totally go for it. In fact, we consider this skin to be one of the best AWP skins in the entire game.
AWP PAW (Factory New) | 4.39

- Added: August 3rd, 2018
- Quality: Restricted
But Atheris is not the only nice AWP skin you can get for less than $5. The PAW skin from the Horizon case also looks pretty good, and you can get it cheap even in the factory new version! We realize that this is not a skin for everyone, but we still feel to give a more "candy-coated" alternative to AWP Atheris.
AK-47 Cartel (Field-Tested) | $4.46

- Added: January 8th, 2015
- Quality: Classified
AK-47 used to be super expensive back in the day, and today you can get it in Field-Tested quality for a little over $4. It's not particularly different from the default AK-47, but that adds that extra glam that some of you might be looking for.
AK-47 Elite Build (Factory New) | $4.33

- Added: April 15th, 2015
- Quality: Mil-Spec
That's right, you can get a good-looking factory new AK-47 skin for less than $5, and this one is truly “elite”. It just looks so clean, and if you want to save even more money, you can buy a minimal wear version, as it costs almost half the price, and it doesn't differ so much.
M4A1-S Basilisk (Minimal Wear) | $4.97

- Added: November 11th, 2014
- Quality: Restricted
When we look at this skin, we remind ourselves of when Operation Vanguard was released; honestly, it was probably the Operation we were most hyped for out of all that came out. The M4A1-S Basilisk skin has always been somewhat cheap, but the fact that you can get it for less than $5 in minimal wear these days is so absurd. In fact, it is virtually no different than factory new and is just as clean.
That’s actually the only skin we’re going to include for M4A1-S, as the rest doesn’t really look so promising. However, if you have more budget, be sure to check out this article: Best M4A1-S CS:GO Skins
M4A4 Neo-Noir (Field-Tested) | $4.86

- Added: February 16th, 2018
- Quality: Covert
How about a Covert M4A4 skin for less than $5? Maybe it's not a factory new version, but field-tested doesn't look super bad on this skin either. Moreover, you can get it even cheaper on some popular marketplaces, even for just $3!
M4A4 Desert Strike (Factory New) | $4.97

- Added: June 11th, 2014
- Quality: Covert
M4A4 Desert Strike is another Covert skin for this rifle, only here you are even getting it in factory new version for less than $5, which doesn't happen every day.
There may not be too many colors and fireworks here, but I think you will agree that this rifle looks just fantastic. It's a pity that the Desert Strike skin series ended with M4A4 and Negev because it really has gigantic potential.
Glock-18 Water Elemental (Minimal Wear) | $4.28

- Added: July 1st, 2014
- Quality: Classified
Glock-18 Water Elemental used to be pretty expensive back in the days, reserved only for pro players and players with fat wallets. Today, pretty much anyone can get one for under $5 in a minimal wear version, and it still looks just as premium. This is our personal pick out of all cheap Glock-18 skins.
Glock-18 Candy Apple (Factory New) | $1.25

- Added: November 27th, 2013
- Quality: Mi-Spec
But not everyone has to like colorful skins as we do, and that's why we'll also include the Glock-18 Candy Apple skin. Fun fact, you can even get it as one of your weekly drop rewards as it’s a part of the Italy skin collection.
It's a nice-looking minimalistic skin, and sometimes it can even cost less than a dollar for a factory-new version. And by the way, if you remember the days when this skin came out, then your childhood was great.
P2000 Imperial Dragon (Minimal Wear) | $3.17

- Added: June 16th, 2016
- Quality: Classified
P2000 Imperial Dragon seemingly looks like a super expensive skin, but it is not at all. The factory new version costs slightly over $6, but in practice, it's not too different from minimal wear which costs 2x less, so we consider it a great deal.
P2000 Corticera (Minimal Wear) | $3.90

- Added: June 10th, 2014
- Quality: Classified
Or maybe you prefer "cooler" colors? P2000 Corticera is another Classified P2000 skin, which price is very similar to Imperial Dragon – you can buy a factory new version and pay a little extra, but what for? A few scratches really do not diminish the quality of this weapon.
USP-S Cortex (Minimal Wear) | $4.26

- Added: February 16th, 2018
- Quality: Classified
The USP-S Cortex is, in our opinion, the absolute best skin for this weapon up to $5. This design is just out of this world, especially when you consider that its description is "keep your head".
USP-S Cyrex (Factory New) | $3.12

- Added: November 29th, 2016
- Quality: Restricted
However, if a few scratches on the skin above bother you, we present to you the USP-S Cyrex, which you can purchase in a factory new version for just over $3. Especially recommended for owners of other Cyrex skins (like a famous M4A1-S)!
Desert Eagle Light Rail (Factory New) | $3.58

- Added: March 14th, 2019
- Quality: Restricted
Another super clean factory new skin, a far cousin of the "Fade" skin series. And that makes it even more attractive since Fade skins usually cost hundreds of dollars and this one we can get in top quality for $3.58 (and lower quality ones often for under a dollar).
Desert Eagle Conspiracy (Minimal Wear) | $4.60

- Added: July 1st, 2014
- Quality: Classified
How about something darker? No problem! Desert Eagle Conspiracy is already a pretty old Classified skin, which you can find for $4-6 dollars. Actually, this skin even looks pretty good in the Field-Tested version, and that couple of scratches even add some unique vibe to this weapon.
SSG 08 Ghost Crusader (Factory New) | $2.16

- Added: April 28th, 2016
- Quality: Restricted
How is this skin so cheap? And how come it is Restricted quality skin? Honestly, this one looks so premium that if someone told us it was a Classified or even Covert skin, we would believe it. What is even more interesting is that this skin was created by one of the CSGO fans who uploaded the concept to Workshop a year before the Chroma 3 case was released.
Honestly, in our opinion, no other skin can compete with this one, so this will be the only one for SSG 08 in this listing. However, if that is not enough for you, be sure to check out this article: Cheapest SSG 08 Skins in CSGO
UMP-45 Primal Saber (Minimal Wear) | $2.67

- Added: April 28th, 2016
- Quality: Classified
Another cheap Chroma 3 skin that was designed by a CSGO fan. Even the battle-scarred version of this skin doesn't look so bad (and that doesn't happen every day) and sometimes you'll get it for less than a dollar.
UMP-45 Arctic Wolf (Factory New) | StatTrak | $1.30

- Added: February 15th, 2018
- Quality: Restricted
It's not easy to get a good-looking factory new StatTrak skin for less than $5, and that's why we definitely need to highlight this one on this listing. These arctic colors are a perfect match for the UMP-45, don’t you think?
P90 Elite Build (Factory New) | $1.34

- Added: February 20th, 2014
- Quality: Mil-spect
In truth, there aren't many cheap P90 skins worth considering, and the Elite Build is pretty much the only one we would recommend to you. But still, it looks quite premium, and you can get it for a little over $1 (or even less sometimes).
This was our listing for the best CSGO skins under $5. As you can see, you don't have to spend millions to have a premium-looking Steam inventory, although still, CSGO skins will always be somewhat expensive, but that's just the way it is.
In this article, we've covered some of the best-looking cheap CS:GO skins, but you don't have to cheap out to get your hands on great weapon and even knife skins. Trading websites like Skinport, Swap.gg Skins.Cash, and Tradeit.gg, often have great deals and are worth checking out if you want to freshen up your loadout.
And if you find a CS:GO skin you want to buy, but can't afford, websites like vLoot and Freecash are great to earn some pocket change on the side by completing simple tasks. If you want to just play games and get paid for that, there is also Buff.Game, where you can earn skins by simply playing CS:GO or any other game.
