Cheapest SSG 08 skins in CSGO
Although less popular than the AWP, the SSG 08 sniper has a decently sized weapon skin collection. Today we’re covering the cheapest SSG 08 skins in CS:GO.
When snipers are mentioned in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, we usually default to the AWP. But, the SSG 08, or more popularly known as: the Scout, offers you a different and more mobile playstyle. This weapon has quite a few popular and expensive skins like the SSG 08 Blood in the Water and Big Iron, but those won’t be included today. The point of this list is to help you find a more affordable and good-looking SSG 08 weapon skin, so let’s get straight into it.
The SSG 08 Slashed was added to CS:GO on the 1st of May, 2014. It was released as part of the Huntsman Collection, and currently starts at $0.50 on the Steam Market.
- Description: N/A
- Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.50(WW) - $0.60(BS)

The Slashed design is pretty simple when it comes down to it - the weapon is painted in black and covered with orange-coloured slashes which resemble claw marks. Some other parts of the weapon aren’t painted at all. When it comes to the conditions of this skin, factory new and minimal wear don’t exist, so field-tested for $0.57 would make for a cheap skin.

Certain parts of this weapon are painted in purple with this weapon skin, and the main body consists of a pattern that mixes purple and teal colors. There’s a reason it’s cheap, but it still looks somewhat good regardless. Purchasing a factory new or minimal wear($0.12) version is recommended for this skin.
The SSG 08 Ghost Crusader was added to CS:GO on the 27th of April, 2016. It was released as part of the Chroma 3 Collection, and currently starts at $0.37 on the Steam Market.

- First Appeared: 27 April 2016
This weapon’s main attraction is the futuristic white and blue design. It’s very similar to some type of space technology, and the color pattern isn’t too bad. Factory new is too expensive, so our recommended condition for this skin would be minimal wear, and that costs about $1.00. It's a pretty straight-forward skin,
The SSG 08 Parallax was added to CS:GO on the 3rd of December, 2020. It was released as part of the Broken Fang collection, and currently starts at $0.50 on the Steam Market.
- Description: Shoot twice, kill once

The main theme of this skin is the black and white color scheme, which is followed by animalistic Zebra stripes. It’s also painted using the chromatic aberration effect. The skin also has a couple of cool inscriptions like “ONE SHOT TWO SHOT ONE KILL” and “360”. Concerning weapon conditions, field-tested is your best balanced option when it comes to this skin, and it only costs $0.70. This is our favorite skin on this list, and it's fairly cheap.
The SSG 08 Abyss was added to CS:GO on the 1st of July, 2014. It was released as part of the Breakout Collection, and currently starts at $0.15 on the Steam Market.
- Description: N/A
- Cheapest-Highest Steam Price: $0.15(BS) - $2.70(FN)
- Drops From: Operation Breakout Weapon Case
- First Appeared: 1 July 2014
The Abyss is a pretty old and memorable skin, and it fell off in popularity due to its age. The design itself is very simple, which is why it’s cheap. But people still like the black-and-blue color scheme it has going on. Worse conditions only affect the vibrance of the colors on the skin, but it doesn’t really tamper with quality, so buying a well-worn or even battle-scarred version is your most affordable option.
When buying skins for the SSG 08 prices constantly change. What also influences prices are stickers, so you need to be aware of that.
