Alexandre “Gaules” Chiqueta is an ex professional Brazilian Counter Strike player who is now a very popular full-time streamer. Check out what settings he uses when he plays CSGO!

Gaules is using the Razer Viper Ultimate as his mouse of choice. Let’s find out what mouse settings he pairs up with his Razer mouse!

Gaules uses a low DPI of 400, but evens it out by using a mouse sensitivity of 2.20. This means that his effective DPI will add up to 880. An eDPI of 880 is still on the lower side compared to other professional players, but is nothing out of the ordinary. It’s also interesting that Gaules uses a zoom sensitivity of 0.71, as other professional players keep it at the default value.

Gaules uses a standard small crosshair with no crosshair dot. The color for his crosshair is light blue, which is a more popular color that professional players use for their crosshairs. There’s really nothing too out of the ordinary about the crosshair Gaules uses.

Gaules is using the 1280x960 resolution, which is the standard resolution you use if you’re playing on a 4:3 aspect ratio in stretched scaling mode. The stretched scaling mode is quite popular as it makes the bodies of the enemy players wider, making it easier to land shots.

Gaules has set the majority of his advanced video settings to the lowest, but it’s interesting to note that he has chosen “Shader” related settings to the highest. His Shader Detail is set to Very High, and he has also enabled his Use Uber Shaders. Other than that, there’s nothing too crazy about his advanced video settings.

There you have it! These are all of Gaules’ relevant Counter Strike settings! He has a pretty standard set of settings, but there’s nothing wrong with that if it works well!
