Krimz CSGO Pro Settings

Freddy “Krimz” Johansson is a Swedish professional Counter Strike Global Offensive player, and is currently playing for fnatic. Krimz is a veteran when it comes to the pro scene in CSGO, as he’s been around for almost a decade! If you’re looking for great consistency like Krimz has, then maybe copying some of his settings will help you become a better Counter Strike Global Offensive player!

Krimz CS Mouse Settings

Krimz is using the ZOWIE EC2-B mouse. Let’s check out what player settings he uses for his mouse:

DPI400
Mouse Sensitivity1.40
eDPI (Effective DPI)560
Zoom Sensitivity1
Hz1000
Windows Sensitivity6
Raw Input1
Mouse Acceleration0

Krimz’s DPI is extremely low, at only 400. In addition to his low DPI, Krimz has chosen to double down and use a relatively low mouse sensitivity as well, at 1.40. When calculated, this puts his effective DPI at 560, which is one of the lowest eDPI settings for Counter Strike pros.

Krimz CS Crosshair Settings

The crosshair is probably one of the most defining settings for any professional player. Let’s see what Krimz is using to pop some heads:

Draw Outline0
Alpha250
Color4
Blue-1000
Green0
Red-1000
Dot1
Gap-3
Size1
Style4
Thickness0
Sniper Width1

Krimz is using an extremely tiny, light blue colored crosshair. The crosshair is very small, meaning that Krimz will have to sit closer to the monitor to be able to see.

Another interesting thing is that Krimz actually uses a crosshair dot, which is not a common option used by other professional players.

Krimz CS Video Settings

Video Settings are important because it tells you what resolution a player is playing on. If you want to know what resolution Krimz uses, continue reading!

Krimz’s General Video Settings

Check out what general video settings Krimz uses with the help of the table below:

Resolution1280x960
Aspect Ratio4:3
Scaling ModeStretched
Color ModeComputer Monitor
Brightness 100%
Display ModeFullscreen

Krimz plays on 4:3 stretched, at 1280x960, and is playing on full screen. A good percentage of pro players actually prefer to play on stretched resolutions because the bodies of the players become wider, making them easier to hit.

Krimz’s Advanced Video Settings

Different pro players will have different preferences for their advanced video settings, so let’s check out what Krimz is doing:

Global Shadow QualityVery Low
Model/Texture DetailLow
Texture StreamingDisabled
Effect DetailLow
Shader DetailLow
Boost Player ContrastEnabled
Multicore RenderingEnabled
Multisampling Anti-Aliasing ModeNone
FXAA Anti-AliasingDisabled
Texture Filtering ModeBilinear
Wait for Vertical SyncDisabled
Motion BlurDisabled
Triple-Monitor ModeDisabled
Use Uber ShadersEnabled

What’s super interesting about Krimz’s advanced video settings is that he has chosen to set the Global Shadow Quality to Very Low. Usually, players use the highest setting for this option as seeing shadows of enemy players can be quite advantageous, but Krimz doesn’t see the need for this.

That’s about it! Those are the settings that the Swedish professional Counter Strike Global Offensive, Freddy Krimz Johansson, uses. The highlighting factor is that Krimz uses an incredibly low effective DPI, meaning that he will have to move his hand a lot when aiming.
