S1mple CSGO Pro Settings
A very tiny amount of players have ever reached the status of Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostylievs. He’s been an icon of the Counter-Strike Global Offensive professional e-sports scene for a long time, and has undoubtedly risen to the status of the best CSGO pro ever. This is why people are usually interested in his crosshair and viewmodel settings, and today’s guide will cover each and every setting preset of his so that you can replicate his setup.
S1mple CS Mouse Settings
S1mple uses a Logitech G Pro X Superlight mouse, this is a pretty high-end mouse and will set you back about $160. Here are all of his actual mouse settings:
|eDPI (Effective DPI)||1236|
S1mple has pretty standard mouse settings for a CSGO pro. Still, this is sometimes low for some players, and if you don’t know what DPI - Mouse Sensitivity combo fits you best, make sure to check out our guide on sensitivity in CSGO.
S1mple CS Crosshair Settings
Here’s all of the information for the crosshair that s1mple uses:
S1mple’s crosshair is a mere dot, but it’s still deadly in his hands. A dot crosshair is definitely not for everyone, so think twice before you apply this.
S1mple’s Crosshair Config
If you want to immediately apply s1mple’s current crosshair in CSGO, then you simply have to copy and paste the line of text located in the table below:
|cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 0; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshairsize 0; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 2; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1;|
S1mple CS Viewmodel Settings
S1mple has a pretty basic viewmodel with some minor differences, and here’s all of the information regarding it:
|Shift Left Amt||1.5|
|Shift Right Amt||0.75|
|Bob Lower Amt||21|
|Bob Amt Lat||0.33|
|Bob Amt Vert||0.14|
There isn’t much to say about s1mple’s viewmodel. It’s very similar to other viewmodels, and won’t drastically change the way you would normally view your gun’s model. As for the FOV, s1mple tends to go with the highest possible FOV.
S1mple’s Viewmodel Config
If you want your viewmodel to be like s1mple’s, then you can copy and paste a line of commands similar to how you would with a crosshair config. Here’s the line of commands you need to copy and paste:
|viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 0; viewmodel_offset_z -1.5; viewmodel_presetpos 3; cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt 1.5; cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt 0.75; viewmodel_recoil 0; cl_righthand 1;|
S1mple Video Settings
Nearly every professional CSGO players has the same video settings, and mostly everything is set to low in order to maximize FPS. Here are all of s1mple’s general video settings:
|Color Mode||Computer Monitor|
S1mple’s General Video Settings
Once again, these aspect ratios and resolution settings are pretty standard for professional players. Many pros prefer to play on 4:3/1280x960 monitor settings resolution.
S1mple’s Advanced Video Settings
Given how we’ve covered the basics, here are s1mple’s advanced graphic settings:
|Global Shadow Quality||Very Low|
|Boost Player Contrast||Disabled|
|Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode||8x MSAA|
|Texture Filtering Mode||Bilinear|
|Wait for Vertical Sync||Disabled|
|Use Uber Shaders||Enabled|
Disabled Triple-Monitor Mode and bilinear texture filtering mode is a must. Mostly all of his settings are disabled or on low, but he still keeps multisampling anti-aliasing mode on the highest setting.
