Michael “shroud” Grzesiek is a retired professional Counter Strike Global Offensive player who has made a huge name for himself during his time competing. He is now one of the largest FPS streamers in the entire world, and has moved to Valorant. However, people still remember his incredible achievements and display of skill during his professional Counter Strike Global Offensive player days.
If you’re looking to follow in the footsteps of shroud, then this article has got you covered! Check out all of shroud’s CSGO settings below!
Shroud CS Mouse Settings
Shroud uses the Logitech G303 Shroud Edition, which is his own custom style of the popular G303 Logitech gaming mouse. Paired up with that mouse, let’s check out what mouse settings shroud uses!
DPI | 450 |
Mouse Sensitivity | 2.4 |
eDPI (Effective DPI) | 1080 |
Zoom Sensitivity | 1 |
Hz | 1000 |
Windows Sensitivity | 6 |
Raw Input | 1 |
Mouse Acceleration | 0 |
Shroud’s DPI is definitely on the lower side, at 450. However, to balance out his effective DPI, shroud uses a high mouse sensitivity of 2.4. This puts his eDPI at 1080, which places him on the higher side of the eDPI charts even though he isn’t an AWPer.
These mouse settings could explain how he can quickly flick and get those crispy headshots!
If you like all of these settings except for the mouse sensitivity, you can always change it up yourself by checking out our article about sensitivity in CSGO!
Shroud CS Crosshair Settings
A professional player’s crosshair is arguably the most sought out setting that people look for. Let’s check out what crosshair shroud uses in order to hit insane headshots all the time.
Draw Outline | 0 |
Alpha | 255 |
Color | 4 |
Blue | 250 |
Green | 250 |
Red | 250 |
Dot | 0 |
Gap | -2 |
Size | 3.5 |
Style | 4 |
Thickness | 1.5 |
Sniper Width | 1 |
Shroud uses a rather basic crosshair, with light blue being the crosshair’s primary color. It is also important to note that shroud prefers a larger crosshair compared to other professional players who prefer smaller crosshairs. However, a large crosshair isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as shroud has proven its success multiple times on the big stages!

Shroud CS Viewmodel Settings
Though most players have similar viewmodel settings, there’s always differences between each player. If you’re curious on what viewmodel settings shroud finds comfortable, don’t worry, as we’ve got you covered.
FOV | 68 |
Offset X | 2.5 |
Offset Y | 1 |
Offset Z | -1.5 |
Presetpos | 3 |
Shift Left Amt | 0 |
Shift Right Amt | 0 |
Recoil | 0 |
Righthand | 1 |
Bob Lower Amt | 5 |
Bob Amt Lat | 0.1 |
Bob Amt Vert | 0.1 |
Bob Cycle | 0.98 |
Shroud uses the highest FOV value, which is 68. This FOV value is very popular between other professional players, so it’s nothing out of the box. However, shroud does have some interesting viewmodel X, Y, and Z offsets. He has adjusted the values to find the perfect viewmodel position for himself.
Similar to other professional players, shroud has his viewmodel recoil set to 0, meaning that his viewmodel won’t move when he’s spraying his gun. Another notable thing is that shroud uses the right hand viewmodel as opposed to the left hand.
For shroud’s bob settings, he has kept all of them at the minimum, meaning that his player model hand won’t shake and move every time he walks.

If you’re a fan of this viewmodel, but have slight values that you dislike, you can always change them by using viewmodel commands.

Shroud CS Video Settings
Professional players usually have varying video settings and resolutions, so if you’re curious about the video settings that shroud uses, then check this out!
Shroud’s General Video Settings
The table below will show you what resolution and aspect ratio shroud uses:
Resolution | 1920x1080 |
Aspect Ratio | 16:9 |
Scaling Mode | Native |
Color Mode | Computer Monitor |
Brightness | 100% |
Display Mode | Fullscreen |

Shroud uses the regular 16:9, 1920x1080 resolution and is playing on full screen. A lot of pro CSGO players prefer to play on 4:3 stretched as it makes player models wider, making it easier to hit their shots. Shroud doesn’t care about this and still uses the 16:9 aspect ratio with great success.
Shroud’s Advanced Video Settings
Many people have different preferences when it comes to advanced video settings. Let’s learn what shroud prefers:
Global Shadow Quality | High |
Model/Texture Detail | Low |
Texture Streaming | Disabled |
Effect Detail | Low |
Shader Detail | Low |
Boost Player Contrast | Enabled |
Multicore Rendering | Enabled |
Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode | 8x MSAA |
FXAA Anti-Aliasing | Disabled |
Texture Filtering Mode | Anisotropic 8x |
Wait for Vertical Sync | Disabled |
Motion Blur | Disabled |
Triple-Monitor Mode | Disabled |
Use Uber Shaders | Enabled |
Even though he has a god-tier gaming setup, shroud chooses to use the lowest settings for most of his video options, as he thinks that video settings aren’t too important. However, shroud has decided to set his shadow video settings to High, as seeing shadows of enemy players can be very helpful in Counter Strike Global Offensive.
Other than that, settings such as effect details, shader details, and motion blur, which aims to make your game look cleaner, is set to the lowest.
There you have it shroud fans! These are all shroud CS:GO settings that you’ll need to know. Shroud’s settings slightly differ from the average professional player. There’s nothing too out of the ordinary in his settings, and it gets the job done.
