Is FezBet Legit? [FezBet Esports Review]
Is FezBet Legit?
FezBet is a legit and safe online sportsbook, casino, and esports bookmaker. While it's relatively young, it's doing many things right, and it‘s completely legit - and here are four reasons why:
- FezBet is owned and operated by Rabidi N.V. (a gambling company from Curacao).
- It operates legally under Antillephone License (8048/JAZ).
- According to similarweb, FezBet averages over 70k monthly visits.
- FezBet launched in 2020.
FezBet might own an Antillephone License (8048/JAZ), which we aren't the biggest fans of, but this is a legitimate esports bookmaker that operates legally. Furthermore, it is owned by Rabidi N.V., a well-known gambling company that owns and operates over a dozen online casinos and gambling sites.
We did a bit more digging into FezBet and found out that it uses the same software and seems to be connected to 7starpartners, which is a good thing, as all of the 7starpartners' books are known for paying its users and have a reasonably solid reputation.
Our research of FezBet revealed more things that would suggest that this is a legitimate esports bookie than the over way around. So the only logical conclusion we can come to is that FezBet is a legitimate esports bookmaker and definitely not a scam.
Fezbet Welcome Bonus and the best Promo Codes
All new users of FezBet can take advantage of a 100% First Deposit Bonus, up to €100, which admittedly isn't the best bonus in terms of its size, but it more than makes up for that with very low bonus requirements.
Moreover, the bonus will vary depending on where you live. For example, customers from Finland, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, and Austria have a higher maximum bonus limit of €200. Meanwhile, the maximum bonus for customers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, and Azerbaijan is limited to 5,000 RUB.
To collect the welcome bonus, you don't need a bonus code, but you can use promotional codes on your registration to receive additional goodies. So to collect the 100% welcome bonus, you only need to make your first deposit, and it will be credited immediately.
How To Claim FezBet Welcome Bonus & Bonus Code
As noted, you do not need a Welcome Bonus code to collect the 100% welcome bonus, but you are able to use promotional bonus codes, which you can find on our website. So if you only want the 100% matched deposit bonus, you need to follow three simple steps:
- Register on FezBet.
- At the first step, where you input your email, you are able to input a bonus code, but you don't need it to be eligible for the 100% Welcome Bonus.
- After completing the registration, a pop-up window will appear, uring you to claim the bonus.
Clicking on the pop-up window will redirect you to the deposit screen, where all you need to do is pick your preferred banking option and make your first deposit.
FezBet Bonus & Promotions (4/5)
FezBet's welcome bonus is very simple to obtain, and while it's not the best we have seen so far, you can't really complain about a 100% matched deposit (up to €200) with a 5x rollover. So it's fair to say that FezBet does a good job in rewarding its new customers. But how about the already existing players?
In the past, we have reviewed esports bookies with excellent welcome bonuses and lackluster promotions for existing users and bookies that had it the other way around. FezBet falls somewhere in between - with a solid welcome bonus and a plethora of great promotions.
On FezBet, you will be able to find an excellent selection of promotions that are split into three categories – sports, casino, and live casino – and include all types of promotions you can imagine. From deposit bonuses, reload bonuses, Acca boosts, cashback bonuses, secure bets, free bets, jackpots, cashout, and much more.
However, there doesn't seem to be much variety, as we couldn't find a single bonus or promotion offered on a specific event or a game. Still, that's hardly a problem, and it does not harm the overall quality of FezBet's offer of promotions and bonuses.
All in all, FezBet has a large and generous enough offer of promotions to keep everyone satisfied, but since it does not offer as much variety as other esports bookies, such as BetHard, ThunderPick or Sportsbet.io, nor does it have any esports-specific offers, we have to deduct one point from our rating. The offer is, however, still much greater than on EvoBet.
Reputation & Safety (3.5/5)
FezBet's online reputation is extremely bad, seeing how this esports bookie is rated at only 1.7/5, which doesn't inspire much confidence. But situations like that require some investigation into the matter to make sure whether FezBet is really as bad as its rating suggests.
After reading through the reviews and complaints, we found that most of the negative reviews of FezBet claimed that the withdrawal took way too long, and some customers even stated that they never got their money. If true, that is a huge problem, but we would be careful calling FezBet a scam.
Even though FezBet owns Antillephone License (8048/JAZ), which is not the most reputable betting licence out there, you have to know that a bookie wouldn't hold a licence for long had it really been scamming its users. And the last we checked, FezBet held a valid licence, so it can't be a "scam site" like many claim.
Moreover, as noted above, FezBet seems to be connected to 7starpartners bookies, which are known for paying its customers, so you can feel safe knowing that your money with FezBet should be safe. That said, there is a chance that its withdrawals will take longer than expected.
FezBet is not a scam site, but we can't praise it too much since it holds an Antillephone License. Moreover, due to slow withdrawals and iffy customer support, its reputation isn't that good, so we have to take away 1.5 points from our rating. But at least it has a much better reputation than Eldorado.gg.
Esports Markets and Odds & Betting Features (4.5/5)
FezBet is not exclusively an esports bookmaker, but it covers esports and does a fine job at it (even better than Luckbox). If you want to find esports markets, know that FezBet does not have a special page dedicated to esports but instead lists esports markets under all sports.
The selection of esports markets on FezBet is not excellent, but it's good enough to receive a thumbs up. This bookie covers all of the major three esports titles in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, and Dota 2, as well as Kings of Glory, Valorant, Call of Duty, and Warcraft. Unfortunately, without Rocket League and Rainbow Six, we can't say that its offer is complete.
But even though FezBet is missing some esports titles, you can bet on all major and even some smaller competitions. Furthermore, there are enough bet types available for you to bet on whatever you want – from moneyline, handicaps, totals, propositions, and more.
The esports odds quality on FezBet will vary, so we can't say you will be betting with the best odds in the industry, but we can confirm that they're not the worst either. We compared FezBet's odds to other esports bookies, including 1Bet and Buff.Bet, and we can confidently say that FezBet does offer very competitive odds. Moreover, FezBet also has live betting on all esports titles, which is always a plus, but it does not provide live streams, which is disappointing.
All in all, FezBet's esports offer is not perfect, but it's very decent. The odds quality is good, and we can't complain about the available betting markets either. Still, we're deducting half a point since some of the more popular esports titles are missing.
FezBet's coverage of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is as good as it gets, and we can confidently say that it won't disappoint you. During our site testing, we found available esports betting markets on all currently running CS:GO tournaments, including some lower-tier events.
Moreover, FezBet offers way more than just the traditional betting options in moneyline, handicaps, and totals. You can bet on anything you wish, and you even have a solid selection of CS:GO proposition bets at your disposal. As noted above, the esports betting odds are also very competitive, and we found nothing about FezBet's CS:GO offer that we did not like.
League of Legends Betting
League of Legends betting offer on FezBet is just as good as its CS:GO betting offer. There are more than enough leagues available for you to bet on, with competitive betting odds and enough betting markets for you to wager on whatever you want.
Know that some lesser leagues and tournaments won't have as many betting markets available as games in major-region leagues or international tournaments. However, that's more of an industry standard rather than an indication of FezBet's lack of offer.
Dota 2 Betting
If you're a Dota 2 esports bettor looking for an esports bookie that can provide you with an excellent betting experience, FezBet is the site for you.
Compared to other esports bookies, namely BetCoin, FezBet has a superb selection of Dota 2 betting markets and excellent betting odds. FezBet's Dota 2 offer is as good as it can get, and will keep any Dota 2 bettor satisfied.
User Experience (3.5/5)
FezBet's website design is straightforward and very similar to most other traditional betting sites. As such, it makes it very easy to find what you're looking for, and there are enough features available to improve your experience.
Even those who have never placed a bet before won't struggle to navigate through FezBet, nor is it difficult to locate all the available betting markets. So as far as the basic website design and accessibility is concerned, FezBet has done a good job.
But there are issues with FezBet we can't overlook. Most importantly, FezBet does not provide live streams of esports matches – even though it does accept in-play bets. There is really no excuse for not providing at least a basic stream of esports matches since it doesn't take a lot to incorporate a Twitch plugin into the site.
Furthermore, FezBet does not have a mobile betting app available, which is another thing that has become more of a norm rather than a bonus in the 21st century. Even though you can still access FezBet via a mobile browser, we would like to see a mobile betting app for a better rating.
Another minor nuisance we have found while testing FezBet is that this bookie will automatically log you out of your account after only a couple of minutes of inactivity. Although other bookies do the same thing, FezBet does so much faster. Is that a huge problem? No, but if I can't tell you how many times I had to re-log back into the site.
Overall, FezBet has a fast, stable, and responsive website that works well and is designed in a way that you can find what you're looking for very easily. But there are issues under the surface. Most importantly, FezBet does not have a live streaming option for esports, and it does not have a mobile betting app. Because of that, a 3.5/5 rating is more than fair.
Customer Support (3.5/5)
At first glance, FezBet's customer support looks very promising, but it's not nearly as good as we hoped it would be. At FezBet, you have two options for reaching customer support – either via email ([email protected]) or via a live chat that you can find on the site.
As advertised by FezBet, you can expect to receive an email response within 45 minutes, whereas live support is available 24/7. All that sounds great, and it would be great had it been true. We tested FezBet's live chat function, and it didn't work even though we tested it on Firefox, Chrome, and Microsoft Edge.
There is a world where we were just unlucky to review FezBet at the time when it had bugs. However, we tested the live function on two separate days and got met with the same result – the live chat window does not even open up. As such, we were really only left with one customer support option in email, which is far from optimal.
We must also touch on FezBet's FAQ, which is very simple, and it didn't blow us out of the water with its quality. Still, it does what it's supposed to – answer the most frequent questions – so we can't complain.
We could not verify how good FezBet's customer support department is since we didn't have access to all of its parts. It's doubtful for FezBet not to have a live chat, so we can assume we were just unlikely to catch FeZbet with its pants down. Still, it wouldn't be fair to give it a much higher rating than 3.5. Perhaps it could learn from other websites with solid customer support, such as Freecash, csgomoney, or G2A.
Deposits & Withdrawal Options (3.5/5)
Before we touch on FezBet's controversial withdrawing process, we must focus on its
banking department, which is pretty decent. There are more than enough banking options available, and from our testing, most deposit options are instant – or very fast.
Note that the deposit methods will vary depending on where you live, but they will include all of the most popular options, including AstroPay, NETELLER, ecoPayz, MasterCard, VISA, Jeton, Skrill, and even cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and Ripple).
We must note that you should expect fewer withdrawal options compared to deposit methods. We have found 20 deposit options but only 12 withdrawal methods during our testing, which doesn't sound great, but there are still plenty of payout methods available for anyone to move their money from their FezBet account – that is, assuming everything goes smoothly.
Before we get to the negatives, we have to note that on FezBet, you can deposit money with 14 different currencies, including EUR, RUB, HUF, NOK, PLN, INR, NZD, CAD, USD; BRL, CZK, JPY, CLP, PEN, and the aforementioned cryptos in BTC, LTC, ETH, and XRP.
According to online reviews, FezBet is notorious for very slow payments. Some customers claim they had to undergo a lengthy verification process and then wait weeks or months to receive the money. Obviously, we have to take online reviews with a grain of salt, but since there are so many complaints about FezBet's withdrawals, there must be some truth in that.
Does that mean you should feel concerned about FezBet and the safety of your money with this esports bookie? Not necessarily. This is still a legal sportsbook with a valid betting license, so it's doubtful it will scam you out of your money. Still, given its slow payment times, we can't give it a very high rating.
FezBet Casino (3/5)
Every online esports betting or gambling site has a casino, and FezBet is no
exception. Admittedly, casino offers won't improve your betting experience. Still, it's always nice to have some gambling variety at your disposal, and FezBet
makes sure it provides you with just that via its large selection of casino games.
We have found over 5600 casino games during our testing, which includes anything from table games, jackpots, slots, and even live casinos. Moreover, FezBet works with over 70 casino game providers, ensuring every casino enthusiast finds what he's looking for.
The variety of casino games on FezBet can't be overstated, nor can we praise FezBet too much for the overall quality of its casino offer. Unfortunately, FezBet does not offer a demo version for its games, and we would have liked to see RTP% displayed next to each slot.
The live casino offer on FezBet is excellent, and we can't complain about the selection, which includes wheels of fortune, baccarat, poker, blackjack, Andar bahar roulette, deal or no deal, sic bo, craps, and much more.
So if you're looking for an esports bookie with a solid casino game offer, FezBet won't disappoint you. But while we liked what we found while reviewing its casino page, one very important thing was missing – a provably fair system.
We have no reason to believe FezBet will offer rigged casino games and try to scam its users out of money – nor is it allowed to do so while holding a gambling license. But there's always the "what if", and the only way to remove the doubt is with a provably fair system.
FezBet is a traditional sportsbook with an exceptional esports betting offer that will satisfy any esports bettor. If you're looking for competitive esports betting odds, generous markets, we would advise you to give FezBet a shot, but remember to bet responsibly and be aware of the dangers of gambling addiction.
