When we talk about esports betting sites' reputations, we have to first check what online reviews of the site say. And we can't say that we were surprised to learn that Stake has a very good reputation, averaging a 4/5 rating.

We have to note that any rating above 3/5 on online review sites is a good rating, largely because most of the reviews are complaints, and a good portion of them make no sense. We dug even deeper and checked what people on online forums have to say about Stake, and we can't say we found any red flags, so all in all, Stake has a solid online reputation.

We have found one user complaining about Stake spamming him with promotions despite noting Stake about his gambling addiction. That doesn't necessarily indicate Stake has any malicious intent, but it is definitely immoral. Or maybe it was an honest mistake.

When we talk security, we can confidently say that Stake is a safe esports bookmaker. Admittedly, it owns a betting licence 8048/JAZ issued to Antillephone, which is not the most trustworthy gambling licence out there, but we couldn't find any confirmed instances of Stake scamming its users.

Stake is a sports betting site and online casino, but it also offers esports betting. Unfortunately, it does not have a separate page for esports betting markets, meaning you will need to navigate to "sports" and find the esports title you wish to bet on.

We have found betting odds and markets on seven esports titles during our testing, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, FIFA, King of Glory, League of Legends, NBA2K, and Rainbow Six. Admittedly, Stake's offer of esports betting markets is not the best, so if you're looking for an esports bookie that does it better, a site like Rivalry or Vulkanbet might be better.

All in all, Stake's coverage of esports is fairly mediocre, and while there are some positives, there are way more negatives we found while testing this site out.

CS:GO Betting

Stake's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive offer is decent, but it's far from great. The main issue is concerningly poor coverage of CS:GO events, seeing how we could only find odds on four tournaments.

Admittedly, this esports bookie covers the bigger events, so you should be fine if you're betting on only those. But we hoped to see better coverage of some lesser tournaments as well, so we were a bit disappointed.

Dota 2 Betting

When it comes to Dota 2, Stake does a better job in offering better coverage of events, so that is a positive. Unfortunately, one issue persists – there are just not enough betting markets available.

Prop bets are basically non-existent, and we were surprised to find out that Stake does not offer handicap betting either. And we figured that out while checking out a match in one of the world's top Dota 2 leagues. The odds quality is decent, though, but that doesn't take away from other problems.

DOTA 2 BETTING ON STAKE

League of Legends Betting

League of Legends is in a similar spot to Dota 2 and CS:GO, meaning that Stake has a basic coverage of major events. Still, its offer of betting markets is fairly mediocre and quite disappointing.

The betting odds are still good and much better than on most other esports bookmakers. So if you're betting mainly moneyline and on only major region leagues, Stake will be a solid LoL esports bookmaker for you. However, if you're looking for something more, an esports bookie such as Dafabet might be better.

Besides CS:GO, Dota 2, and LoL, Stake also covers FIFA, NBA2K, Rainbow Six, and King of Glory. But don't expect a better betting experience on either of these esports titles – the issues mentioned above persist across all seven.

We have nothing bad to say about Stake and its website -  it's a well-designed website that works smoothly, fast, and stable. Moreover, its design makes it very easy to find what you're looking for, but we would like to see some minor changes.

Most notably, Stake does not have a separate page dedicated to esports, so you have to look for the esports title you want to bet on in the sports menu. Besides that, Stake deserves a thumbs up from us.

We were most impressed with Stake's live betting offer, which is surprisingly well made. The live betting page provides you with a stable stream and a useful infographic with live stats and other useful data. But know that some esports games from minor leagues might not have all the stats updated, so this feature, while a good one, is not consistent.

Stake also has other useful features such as bet history, your personal betting stats, and various setting you can use to adjust the site and its features to your liking. Overall, the user experience on Stake is solid, and it's clear that the company behind this esports bookie knows how to satisfy its customers.

However, since there are some inconsistencies in Stake's features, we will deduct half a point.

We tested Stake customer support, and we had a solid experience overall. While you can contact Stake customer support via email, we found that live chat is the most convenient and fastest way for anyone to get in touch with the support agents.

To get in touch with the agent via a live chat, you simply need to click on the live chat button in the bottom right corner of the page and ask the question. We have to note that we had to wait up to five minutes to get in touch with customer support during our testing. But we will give Stake some slack for that since the site had a notification stating that Stake was at the time experiencing a "significant volume of inquires".

But even though we had to wait a few minutes to get in touch with the agent, we did not struggle to get the answers we were after. The agents responded quickly and provided us with professional answers, so we have to give Stake a thumbs up for that.

Alternatively, you can also visit Stake Help Center, which serves as a FAQ section. It is surprisingly well made, with detailed answers to all of the most common problems you might encounter, and it wouldn't be too far from the truth to say that Stake's FAQ is one of the best we have seen so far.

If we draw a line, there is nothing about Stake customer support that we can complain about. You can be sure that any issue that you might encounter will be resolved promptly and with an enviable degree of professionalism. This is a 5/5 from us and a much better experience than on CSGORoll.

Before you can make your first deposit at Stake, you need to retrieve your deposit address which you can find by clicking on "Wallet". Once there, you will choose between the supported currencies, including BTC, LTC, ETH, BCH, DOGE, XRP, TRX, and EOS.
