How to change your team name and color in Rocket League?

Rocket League Clubs is an in-game social feature that aims to unite you and your friends to make competing as a team easy and recognizable.

Clubs offer various features such as:

  • Creating a private match
  • Joining a private match
  • Sharing news with its members

It might not be obvious how to change the color and name of your club, so here is a guide on how to do it:

Before we start

First things first: you need to be the admin of the Club to access these settings. If this is not the case, then send this guide to the admin (or creator) of the club.

If you want to be the admin of the Club then the current owner can transfer his status to you by selecting your Gamertag on the Club screen, clicking on it and selecting the transfer option from the drop-down menu.

How to change your team name in Rocket League?

If you are the owner of the Club then this is what you have to do to change your team colors:

  1. Start Rocket League
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Click on Manage Club
  4. Click on Rename Club
  5. Change the Name and Tag of your Club

How to change your team color in Rocket League?

As above you need to be the admin (or creator) of the Club to change your colors.

Here is a step by step guide on how to change your team Color:

  1. Start Rocket League
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Click on Manage Club
  4. Click on Edit Team Color
  5. Choose the Primary and Accent Color you want

The primary color refers to the color of your battle car and the color of the arena and the accent color refers to the color of your team’s decals.

How to disable Club colors in matches?

Maybe sometimes you don’t want the arena to change color for you and your team. If you want to keep the Arena in its normal coloration just go to Settings > Interface and uncheck “Force Default Team Colors”.

It is also possible to adapt the color of your boost indicator/meter. To achieve this, navigate to Settings>Interface>Team-Colored Boost Meter and uncheck the box.
