PlayerAuctions is a legitimate company held under PlayAuctions Inc. Their headquarters is in the United States. After our own testing, we can assure you that PlayerAuctions is entirely legit and safe.

Upon visiting the website, we found that PlayerAuctions has a sleek and user-friendly interface, making the site effortless to navigate. But, upon creating a seller account, we had some difficulties and roadblocks that delayed our listing process.

When signing up as a seller, we had to confirm our identity and provide other personal information. Though it is a hassle, it is understandable for the safety of customers, so we didn’t mind it. However, the identity confirmation process took 24 hours, so PlayerAuctions might not be an ideal choice if you can’t afford to wait.

After verifying our seller account, we could begin filling in payment methods. For those wondering, PlayerAuctions pays out through PayPal, Skrill, and Payoneer. Not the most amount of payment method, but it should suffice for an average seller.

Fortunately, the process of listing accounts on their website went swimmingly, and we could easily add colored titles and attach images to make our account more appealing to buyers.

PlayerAuctions

Regarding their fees, PlayerAuctions will charge 12.99% of the account sale and an additional $0.99 fee. So, make sure you do your calculations and mark up your account price to cover the fees!

Upon our visit, there were 355 listed CSGOPRIME accounts, which isn’t that much compared to the other websites on the list, reducing your competition. We’ve also learned that you should include tags in your listing title to give your account more exposure.

G2G

The following site we recommend is G2G, a marketplace known for in-game items and currency. However, we also like to use their site to sell and buy CS2 (CSGO) accounts.

G2G
4.3 / 5

G2G is a safe and legit marketplace with good user review scores, multi-platform support and a variety of payment options to sell and buy your items.

They are based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After thorough testing, we can assure you that G2G is a legit and safe website where you can sell accounts with an easy interface.

However, the first thing we noticed upon visiting their site is they had over 13,000 CS2 (CSGO) accounts listed. This amount means you will have massive competition when selling your accounts and may have to cut prices to secure sales. But, after comparing prices with other websites, G2G generally has higher average prices, which gives you some wiggle room to adjust your prices.

G2G

Like every other website on the list, you’ll have to enter personal information before being allowed to list your CS2 (CSGO) account on their website. However, we’ve noticed that G2G has one of the strictest verification systems as they take customer safety as their main priority.

If you’ve gotten through their verification process, we bring good news that creating listings and setting up your seller page is extremely easy. Unfortunately, new sellers only have a maximum of 20 listings, while high-level sellers can post hundreds of listings, reducing the visibility of your listings. Lots of sellers on G2G have made money from playing CS2 (CSGO) through reaching high ranks and selling off the accounts.

When selling your accounts on G2G, another essential thing is that after a sale is completed, G2G will hold your money for 14 days to protect the buyer as an insurance service. Though this system is suitable for buyers, G2G might look less attractive to you if you’re looking to sell your account for urgent funds.

MMOGA

The third website we used to sell accounts is be MMOGA, one of the oldest websites on the list. MMOGA was opened in 2007 and is still standing strong today.

MMOGA

We wouldn't call MMOGA a reliable marketplace, so if you want to shop there, remember that you do so at your own risk.

We can vouch for MOMOGA's safety and legitimacy, as the site worked fine when we spent our time there. However, many negative reviews surround the website, so be careful about that.

The good news is MMOGA is the easiest site to create a seller page in this list. They will ask you for some personal data, but the process is very straightforward. Still, you will have to wait up to 24 hours to have your identity and seller page verified by MMOGA staff.

One bad takeaway from MMOGA is that their site seems underdeveloped compared to the other websites on the list. The user interface seems outdated; it looks like something standard from seven years ago. We’re disappointed that MMOGA has been operating for 15 years but can’t improve its site design and UI.

MMOGA

The website also lacks features for selling accounts, including images and tags. Sellers have to put keywords and tags on their listing titles, as there is no option to have filterable tags. The absence of these features will make it difficult for you if you want to sell a wide variety of accounts, so keep that in mind!

Though we’ve been saying many bad things, there’s light at the end of the tunnel, as the Middleman system on the website was very good. When we sold our CS2 (CSGO) account, the Middleman protected both us (the seller) and the buyer. The process was relatively slow, but it guarantees safety.

During our testing, we did reach out to MMOGA’s customer support to see if they could speed up the process, but we were met with unresponsive support staff, so we’ll have to rate their CS poorly.

IGVault

Last but not least, we have IGVault. Similar to G2G, the IGVault website is mainly focused on selling in-game items and currencies. However, we've also found their services useful for selling CS2 (CSGO) accounts.

IGVault
2.4 / 5

In our opinion, IGVault (or IGV) is a good but not the best marketplace for gaming accounts and in-game items.

We’ve tried buying and selling accounts there and can assure you that IGVault is not a scam website. However, there are many dangerous CS2 (CSGO) scammers who are trying to use IGVault's name to scam users.

Upon our visit, the first thing we did was check the CS2 (CSGO) account listing page. We were greeted with 500 listed accounts, which is not too bad if you’re a seller. There is less competition than websites such as G2G, making your account more accessible to buyers.

It didn’t surprise us that we had to fill in personal data to become a seller. However, IGVault asked us for a photograph of our citizenship identity card and phone number. We weren’t asked for this on other websites, so you can tell IGVault’s security is pretty tight.

Honestly speaking, it was a little skeptical, but we ended up doing it anyway. Our account was approved in less than 24 hours, and we could immediately start selling.

IGVault

While setting up our seller page on IGVault, we found out that the website pays out through Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cryptocurrency. It would be nice if they had more popular payment methods, such as PayPal, but we actively use cryptocurrency, so it wasn’t that big of a deal for us.

Another vital thing to keep in mind is IGVault’s seller fees. During our first CS2 (CSGO) account sale, we were charged a 10% - 20% fee from the total sale of our listing, which isn’t too far from PlayerAuctions. We expected these numbers, so we did mark up our account to cover some of the costs. Before selling your account, make sure to consider these fees!
