How Do Weekly Drops Work in CS2 (CSGO)?
Counter-Strike 2 replaced the weekly drops system with the so-called Weekly Care Package system, which is available only for players with a Prime status. Each week, you are guaranteed to choose two out of four items that will be your weekly drop.
To unlock the Weekly Care Package in CS2 (CSGO), you need to earn experience points by playing games. Similar to the CS:GO version, when you earn enough XP and advance to a higher profile rank, you will get a choice to pick your Weekly Care Package rewards. That said, if you mostly care about getting weekly drops, you should focus your strategy on leveling up CS profile rank fast.
In my opinion, this is a much better way of handling the system, as you can now change the useless $0.01 graffiti for a nice looking-skin, or a case of your choice, so it's less luck-oriented. However, if you miss luck-oriented elements in CS, I recommend you trying out our random CS skin generator or the Counter Strike weapon randomizer!
CS2 (CSGO) Weekly Care Package Reset Time
Weekly Care Package resets every Tuesday at 06:00 PM PT. You will be given an option to choose two of the four rewards right after achieving a new profile level.
Note that the reset can be up to few hours late, so if you want to make sure that you will get your drop, launch the game on Wednesday PT instead.
What Items Can You Drop In The Weekly Care Package?
In the weekly care package only Counter Strike skins, cases, and graffities. Let's break down how much you can earn on each of these items, and how valuable they are.
Skins
When it comes to skins, you can drop weapon skins from the official map collections. However, options are fairly limited there, as you can't get skins from the Cobblestone, Cache, Overpass, and other more premium collections. That's correct, no AWP Dragon Lore drop for just playing a game, sorry.
Here are all the supported collections in the weekly care package system:
Cases
As of dropping CS2 (CSGO) cases from the Weekly Care Package, there are two drop pools – Active Drop Pool, and Rare Cases Drop Pool.
Active Drop Pool contains cases that you will usually get, but they are also some of the cheapest on the market, as they feature a larger supply and lower demand. On the other hand, rare cases are typically more expensive, but the chance of getting them is minimal.
Here are all Counter Strike weapon cases that you can get through Weekly Care Package system:

Graffities
Graffities are the least valuable of all items you can get and serve as a sort of “filler” in the CS2 (CSGO) weekly drop system.
The worth of the vast majority of them does not even exceed a dollar. Currently, the most valuable graffiti is Recoil AWP, worth about $10.
