Everything you need to make Chain
Chain is a decoration in Minecraft that was added in the 1.16 update of the game. It’s mostly used for decoration purposes like hanging lanterns and bells. To craft a Chain, you just need a few Iron ingots.

- 1x Iron Nugget
How to craft Chain in Minecraft
#1 Collect 1x Iron Ingot
The common way to get Iron Ingot is by smelting 1x Iron Ore/Deepslate Iron Ore/Raw Iron in the Furnace. They yield 1x Iron Ingot for each.
If you have 1x Block of Iron, put it in the crafting grid to get 9x Iron Ingot.
If you have 9x Iron Nugget, right-click a Crafting Table and put them all in to craft 1x Iron Ingot.
Additionally, Iron Ingot can be found in looted chests in most Minecraft structures. They have a variety of chances to contain 1-9x Iron Ingot.
Alternatively, you can farm Iron Ingot by making an Iron Golen farm. Each Iron Golem will drop 3-5x Iron Ingots on death.
#2 Collect 2x Iron Nugget
If you have 1x Iron Ingot, put it in the crafting grid to get 9x Iron Nugget.
You can smelt any Iron tools and armors in the Furnace to get 1x Iron Nugget.
Iron Nugget can be found in chests in some structures like Bastion Remnants, Ruined Portals, Shipwrecks, and Villages. They have a small chance to contain 1-18x Iron Nugget.
Finally, you can trade 1x Gold Ingot with the Piglin for 9-36x Iron Nugget.
#3 Finish off crafting a Chain
When you have 1x Iron Ingot and 2x Iron Nugget, right-click a Crafting Table and put the Iron Ingot in the middle grid, then put Iron Nugget on both top and bottom of the Ingot to craft 1x Chain.
Chain can be found in chests in Bastion Remnant. They have a 24.4% chance to contain 2-10x Chain.
Additionally, Chain are generated naturally in some structures like Mineshafts, Bastion Remnants, and Ruined Portals.

The command to give yourself a Chain is: /give @p chain 1
