4 Ways to Improve from Legend in Dota 2

Utilize Stacking and Pulling

This technique should be a consistent part of every game and executed with precision. If you're playing as a support, it's crucial to create and maintain large ancient stacks; protecting these stacks from enemy invasion is equally important.

To ensure the safety of these stacks, the surrounding area should be thoroughly warded for additional security. These tactics are vital for gaining an advantage and moving up to the Ancient rank.

Understand Your Role & Be Versatile

If you are a support player, always be ready to teleport to your mid when they're being ganked in the early game. Quick support can change the game's tide. And if you are more of a Carry or Core player, it will be important to join early game teamfights, especially between the 8 and 15-minute marks. Your participation in these fights can greatly influence the game's outcome.

Buyback Money More Often

Particularly for carry players, it's crucial to always have enough gold for buyback from the mid to the late game. This ensures you can rejoin crucial battles after being eliminated, which can be a game-changer.

Choose Your Fights Wisely

Both as an individual player and as a team, it's just so crucial to avoid engaging in battles that are not in your favor. It's okay, you don't need to read "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu, but please; so many players are not really thinking about the chances they have when going for a combat. Calculating the risk and potential of each fight can prevent unnecessary losses and maintain your team's advantage.
