Everything you need to craft a Candle in Minecraft

Minecraft has a lot of different sources, but candles are the best. They allow the player to adjust the light levels in their base which was not possible prior to their addition to the game. This makes the candle ideal for building houses in Minecraft. The candles can be stacked, so you can have different looks. Plus they come in 16 different colors, so you can actually have multi-color candles!

Here are the items you’ll need to craft a Candle:

How to craft a Candle in Minecraft

#1 Acquiring string

1

String can be easily acquired by breaking cobwebs. These cobwebs can be broken with a piston, a sword, or flowing water. Strings can also be obtained by killing mobs like the striders (nether mob), spiders, cave spiders, and cats. A cobweb can also be placed on a crafting table to get string.

#2 Acquiring Honeycomb

2

Honeycombs in Minecraft come directly from the bee's nest or hives. Once the bee nest or beehive is full with honey_level 5, you can shear the honey of the beehive or nest. When you do so, three honeycombs will be acquired. But make sure you lit a campfire under the beehive or nest before you shear the honey off, or else the bees can get angry, and their bite is deadly in Minecraft.
