Cut Copper is an upgraded version of a normal Copper Block in Minecraft. It has the texture of brick while still remaining the orange look of the Copper Block, or teal if you use oxidized Copper. To craft Cut Copper is simple if you already have some Copper Ingots, otherwise, going mining is required for this recipe.

How to craft Cut Copper in Minecraft

#1 Collect 4x Block of Copper

If you already have at least 9x Copper Ingot, right-click any Crafting Table and put them all in to craft 1x Block of Copper.

Otherwise, you need to go underground and mine some copper ores. They will drop 2-5x Raw Copper on broken and up to 20x Raw Copper if you have Fortune III enchantment.

When you have Raw Copper, just put them in the Furnace to get 1x Copper Ingot.

You can also get 1x Copper Ingot by killing a Drowned. They have an 11% chance to drop one, and up to 17% if you have Looting III enchantment.

#2 Finish off crafting a Cut Copper

When you have 4x Block of Copper, simply press E to open your inventory and place them in a 2x2 shape in the crafting grid to craft 4x Cut Copper.

You can also get 1x Cut Copper if you place 1x Block of Copper in the Stonecutter.
