To make carpet, you need to place 2x wool in the middle row of a 3x3 crafting table. As wool comes in a variety of colors, you can choose the color you desire. Here we are using red wool. Within 2 seconds, you will see 3 red carpets on the right side of your crafting grid. From where you can move them to inventory.

How To Craft Dyed Carpet

#1 Open Your Crafting Table

First things first, place your crafting table and right click on it. This will open a 3x3 crafting grid as you can see in the image below.

Important: Wool is available in different variants, so you can dye the carpet in whatever color you prefer with the colored wool of your choice. Here we are using red wool.

#2 Add 2x Red Wool Into Inventory

Now, you will need to put 2x red wool in the middle row of a 3x3 crafting table. In the middle row, the first box should be 1x red wool, followed by 1x wool in the second box. This will get you 3x red wool.

Do not play with the position of the wool because displacement of wool won’t get you desired results.

# Move 3x Red Carpet To Inventory

The above process will result in 3x red carpet on the right side of your crafting grid. Now is the time to move them to inventory,

Just drag and drop them to inventory.
