To make sandstone slabs in Minecraft, you need to collect sand. Then, by using a crafting table, you can turn sand into sandstone. Finally, put the sandstone into the crafting table to get your sandstone slabs.

• 4x Sand blocks
• 3x Sandstone
• 1x Crafting table

How To Make Sandstone slab In Minecraft

#1 Find Sand blocks

You might think sand comes from the bottom of the sea? Well, not exactly, because in Minecraft sand is a naturally occurring block that spawns quite commonly at the surface of the world. You can find it near water bodies.

Once done finding sand blocks, collect at least 4 blocks of sand with anything including your hands. However, shovels are recommended for faster mining.

#2 Make Sandstones In Crafting Table

Now open the crafting table and place 4 sand blocks in four adjacent cells on the crafting table.

This will get you 1 sandstone. Once done, you can proceed to the next step.

#3 Craft sandstone slabs

Now, it’s time to put the sandstones into work to make sandstone slabs.

In this step, You’ll place 3 sandstones in the 3x3 crafting grid that you have obtained from the previous step to get your sandstone slab.

Important: Place the sandstone blocks in the second row as shown in the image.
