Everything You Need To Make Sandstone Stairs

To make sandstone stairs you need to place 6x sandstone in a 3x3 crafting table in a specified pattern. In a while, 4x sandstone stairs will appear on the right side of the crafting grid from where you can move them to your inventory.

Here is everything you need:

• 1x Crafting table
• 6x sandstone

How To Craft Sandstone Stairs In Minecraft

#1 Open Your Crafting Table

To get started, Open the Crafting table so that you can have a 3x3 crafting grid as shown in the image below.

Important: Make sure you have enough sandstones in your inventory before proceeding to the next step. If you don't have sandstone, you can see our guide on how to make sandstone.

#2 Add Sandstone Into Inventory

In this step, you will craft sandstone stairs. You need to place 6x sandstone on a 3x3 crafting table, as shown in the image below, to get 4x stairs on the right side of the crafting grid.

Note: Make sure the very first row of the crafting table has one sandstone at the beginning of the row. On the second row, there should be 2x sandstones and on the third, there should be 3x sandstones, as you can see in the image.

Displacement of sandstone to any other row won't get you stairs.

#3 Move Stairs into your Inventory

In the last step, you need to move the new sandstone stairs to your inventory. Just drag and drop them into your inventory.

The above process will result in 4x sandstone stairs. However, if you want more, just repeat the process and get the desired number of sandstone stairs.
