To craft sandstone, you need to place 4x sand blocks into a 3x3 crafting grid. Once done, your sandstone blocks will appear on the right side of the crafting grid. From where you can move them to your inventory.

How to Craft A Sandstone

#1 Open your crafting table

First, open your crafting table so that you can have a 3x3 crafting grid as you can see in the image.

Make sure you have enough sand before moving to the next step. You should have at least 4x sand blocks to craft a sandstone block.

#2 Add sand into a crafting table

To initiate the process of crafting sandstone blocks, you need to place 4x sand blocks in a 3x3 crafting grid in the same order as shown in the image.

The first box on the third line should contain 1x sand block, followed by 1x sand block in the second box. Place 2x sand blocks in the middle row in the same order as in the third line.

Displacement of sand blocks in any other box, won’t get you desired results.

# Move sandstone to Inventory

Click and drag down sandstone blocks into your inventory.

The above process will get you 1x sandstone, however, if you want more. Just repeat the process again and again to get your desired number of sandstone blocks.
