To make paper, you should place 3x sugar canes in the middle row of a 3x3 crafting table. Wait for 2 seconds, you will see 3x paper on the right side of your crafting grid. This is where you can add them to your inventory.

How To Craft Paper

#1 Open Your Crafting Table

First things first, open your crafting table so that you can have a 3x3 crafting table as we have shown in the image below.

Just place your crafting table and right click on it.

Before moving to the next step, make sure you have at least 3x sugar canes. You can find them easily in your minecraft world. They usually grow near water.

#2 Add 3x Sugar Canes Into Crafting Table

Once you have enough sugar canes, you can proceed to the next step. In this step, you should place 3x sugar canes in the middle row of a 3x3 crafting table. This will get you 3x paper.

Displacement of sugar canes to any other row or box won’t get you paper. So place sugar canes carefully.

#3 Move Paper To Inventory

The above process will result in 3x paper on the right side of your crafting grid. Now is the time to move them to inventory

Drag and drop them to your inventory and you're done.

You can repeat the whole process as many times as necessary to obtain your desired number of papers.
