How to craft Iron Bars in Minecraft

#1 Collect 6x Iron Ingot

You can get 1x Iron Ingot by smelting either 1x Iron Ore, Deepslate Iron Ore, or Raw Iron in the Furnace. You can get those three by mining underground.

If you have 1x Block of Iron, put it in the crafting grid to get 9x Iron Ingot.

If you have 9x Iron Nugget, put them together on the crafting table to get 1x Iron Ingot.

You can also find Iron Ingot generated in looted chests in most Minecraft structures. They have a variety of chances to contain 1-8x Iron Ingot.

Mobs like Iron Golems can drop 3-5x Iron Ingot on death. While Zombies, Zombie Villagers, and Husks have a 2.5% chance to drop 1x Iron Ingot on death.

#2 Finish off crafting an Iron Bars

When you have 6x Iron Ingot, right-click any Crafting Table and put them in a 3x2 shape to craft 16x Iron Bars.

Iron Bars can also be generated naturally in Strongholds, Woodland mansions, Villages, Igloo, and Ruined Portals. You will need at least a Stone Pickaxe to break them.
