Everything you need to make Trapped Chest
Trapped Chest is another variation of the chest in Minecraft. With the appearance and functionality just like a normal chest, Trapped Chest has one additional usage for Redstone since it will provide a Redstone signal when opened. Trapped Chest is simple enough to craft, you just need some wood and an iron ingot.

How to craft Trapped Chest in Minecraft
Collect 1x Chest
You can craft a chest by using 8x Planks of any wood type. Right-click the Crafting Table and put 8x Planks in, except the middle grid to craft 1x Chest.
Chests can be also generated naturally in most Minecraft structures like strongholds, mineshafts, villages, dungeons, temples, nether fortresses, end cities, woodland mansions, shipwrecks, and a lot more!
Another way to get a chest right in the beginning is to select the Bonus Chest option when you create a new world.
Collect 1x Tripwire Hook
You can craft a Tripwire Hook by using 1x Stick, 1x Planks, and 1x Iron Ingot. Just right-click the Crafting Table, place the Iron Ingot in the top row, the Stick in the middle, and the Planks at the bottom to craft 2x Tripwire Hook.
Tripwire Hook can be generated in the Jungle Temple. They always contain 4x Tripwire Hook under the entrance.
You can also get 1-3x Tripwire Hook in chests from Pillager Outpost with a 30.5% chance.
The final way to get Tripwire Hook is by fishing. You have a 0.4-1% chance to get 1x Tripwire Hook.
Finish off crafting a Trapped Chest
When you have 1x Chest and 1x Tripwire Hook, simply put them together in your crafting grid to craft 1x Trapped Chest.
Another way to get Tripwire Hook is to look for the Fake End Portal Rooms in the Woodland Mansion. They contain 1x Trapped Chest.
