Who is Aqua in Rocket League Esports
Aqua is a currently active professional Rocket League player coming from the North America region. He was born in the United States, and began his professional Rocket League career in September of 2020. His first team was Simp Central, although he never achieved any real international success with his first team. At the time of this writing, Aqua is currently competing for a professional Rocket League team Rogue.
Throughout his career so far, Aqua's biggest official success was achieving 5th - 6th place in an RLCS 2021 - 2023 Winter NA Regional Event. Apart from official RLCS tournaments, he managed to win 1st place in Hercules Tier Invitational 2 tournament, winning the prize money of respectable $12000 (split among him and his teammates).
Being born in 2006, Aqua is a very young Rocket League player, and has been deemed a prodigy by many big names in the Rocket League community. Most notably, Sizz, the coach of NRG, has dubbed him as the next Justin. He has also played on a make-shift squad popularly dubbed NA Prodigy, alongside Daniel and Evoh.
Not everyone is impressed with Aqua's skill, however. Most notably, Retals has claimed that Aqua is "not as good as people think".
Whichever side of the argument you may fall on, there can be no denying that, should Aqua continue to grind and work on improving himself, there's definitely a place for him among one of the very top Rocket League players.
