The Best Bloodhound Skins in Apex Legends that will make You stand out

This legend’s history in Apex Legends is rich to say the least. Players across all platforms have come to adore this legend’s backstory and general aesthetic. Bloodhound is known for their background as a prolific hunter, and that’s what their outfits and theme is based around. This gave Respawn Entertainment a lot to work with, and given how Bloodhound has been around since the beginning of this game, a lot of beautiful skins were released.

Plague Doctor

The Plague Doctor skin for Bloodhound was not part of any specific event, and it’s a legendary rarity skin. It can be crafted for 1200 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1800 Apex Coins.

This is one of those skins that fits a certain character really well. We’re all aware of Plague Doctors and their significance in past pandemics across the world. They’re usually viewed as a sign of death and gloom, and this applies to the ruthless nature of Bloodhound. Bloodhound is known for their mask, and having them dawn the plague doctor mask just fits perfectly. It’s not a flashy skin, but it’s definitely one that compliments Bloodhound’s aesthetic.

Wandering Warrior

The Wandering Warrior skin for Bloodhound was first seen in the Item Store in February of 2020. It’s a legendary rarity skin that went for 10500 Legend Tokens at first, but now it can only be crafted if you own the “Royal Guard” skin for 6500 Legend Tokens.

The Wandering Warrior skin, unlike the Imperial Warrior, is a bit harder to obtain as mentioned above. It’s a multi-layered skin and is worth the hassle due to the vibrant and fitting design. The color pattern matches well, and the design gives a different perspective on Bloodhound’s aesthetic. It’s definitely among the harder Bloodhound skins to procure, but it made a comeback to the item store last month and probably will be back again soon enough.

Wise Warrior

The Wise Warrior skin for Bloodhound was first introduced to Apex Legends during the Old Ways event in 2020. It’s a legendary rarity skin, and usually costs 1800 Apex Coins

The Old Ways event gave birth to the legendary Wise Warrior skin. First off, the sleek design of the Wise Warrior skin just looks heavenly. It’s not cluttered at all and leaves room for the waves and stripes to shine. The color pattern only adds to the awesomeness of the design, and I’m sure we don’t need to tell you why.  This is in our opinion one of the best Bloodhound skins in Apex Legends. Given how the Old Ways event has been over for a while, this skin could be in the top 10 rarest Bloodhound skins.

Frosthaven

The Frosthaven skin for Bloodhound is part of the claimable Prime Gaming loot for Twitch Prime subscribers in February 2023. It’s an exclusive legendary rarity skin, and can only be claimed through the aforementioned source from February 17th, till March 17th, 2023.

Frosthaven is a fairly straight-forward skin. The design is pretty similar to the many other Bloodhound skins, but what sets it apart is the color pattern and source of acquisition. Those with a Twitch Prime Gaming subscription have the chance to get their hands on a legendary skin, making this a pretty good bargain. You have to act fast though, for it ends on the 17th of March. It looks good, it’s practically free, and  even gives you a sense of exclusivity.

Apex Hunter

The Apex Hunter skin for Bloodhound was released as part of a brand new Prestige skin system for Season 12. It’s a mythic rarity skin, and can only be unlocked after completing the entire Anniversary Collection event, which costs $160 in total.

The Apex Hunter Bloodhound prestige skin is the progenitor of the new mythic/prestige skin rarity that was introduced to Apex Legends as of Season 12. It comes in three tiers, with the last tier being the best in our opinion. The price you have to pay for the acquisition of this skin is hefty, and it’s quickly become one of the most sought after skins in all of Apex Legends. The design itself is worthy of the mythic rarity status, and many other players tend to agree with that sentiment.

The Intimidator

The Intimidator is a legendary rarity skin, and is only available upon purchasing the Bloodhound Edition of Apex Legends for $19.99.

The Intimidator skin could be considered the best Bloodhound skins in terms of style and creativity. There are a lot of layers to this skin, and it completely removes itself from the original aesthetic of Bloodhound. As the name implies - it’s pretty intimidating at first glance, and the mask is unique to the Intimidator skin only. The Intimidator is unique in every way, and the main selling point is the mask and vibrant red color. Now, if you think this skin is worth $19.99 to you, then go ahead and buy yourself the Bloodhound Edition.

The Centurion

The Centurion skin for Bloodhound was released as part of the Iron Crown Event in Apex Legends Season 2 (2019). It’s a legendary rarity skin, and usually costs 1800 Apex Coins

Where do we even begin with a skin that harbors such vast popularity? The Centurion was, and still is one of the most beloved Bloodhound skins out there, but it’s availability is what plagues newer Apex Legends players. Both the mask and medieval aesthetic give Bloodhound an innovative flair, and it’s another skin that strays away from the hunter within Bloodhound. It was available in 2019 during Season 2, and once again in 2021 as part of a bundle. We haven’t seen it since however, and people are still hoping for its awaited return to the item store.

Hunter Within

The Hunter Within skin for Bloodhound was released during the Monsters Within Event in 2021. It’s a legendary rarity skin that can be crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials or unpacked through an Apex Pack.

Many of the skins covered today diverge from the Bloodhounds true calling, but the Hunter Within skin pays perfect homage to the Bloodhounds call of the hunt, and makes them look like a true Apex Hunter. Equipping this skin fully immerses you into the character, so if you’re a big fan of the lore and background of Bloodhound - this is a skin you should definitely own.

Apex Legends has many other characters that have their own vast selection of skins, which is why we’ve created lists like these for other legends such as Octane, Pathfinder, Bangalore and Caustic. Apex Legends puts a lot of focus on the aesthetic of its legends, and that’s one of the main reasons why players keep coming back to play it. That’s also why we’re not only determined to present you a list of the best Bloodhound skins, but also a list of the best skins for all the Apex Legends.

Bloodhound is in a league of their own, they exude confidence and discipline, whilst also allowing you to show up in style. If you’re not already a Bloodhound main, then we strongly urge you to reconsider.
