Rampart was introduced in Apex Legends Season 6 as a defensive legend. Her abilities are suited for the most defensive players out there, and she’s different from many of her counterpart legends in the game. Her mobile minigun and cover shield make for great additions to a squad that’s desperate to win a game, and many players prefer her over Gibraltar due to how potent the minigun is. Mostly, all of the other legends have a long list of skins, but Rampart is lacking a bit in that department. Regardless, we’re gonna cover the ones that look their absolute best and will surely make you stand out in-game.
Death Dealer
The Death Dealer skin for Rampart was released as part of the Apex Legends Season 8 Chaos Theory Collection Event in 2021. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1800 (2500 when in a bundle) Apex Coins.
The “Death Dealer” skin is very similar to other skins that were released during the Chaos Theory Collection Event, and it mimics the chaotic theme that the event represented. The design is all over the place, but it's a bit more primitive in nature. The bones and crude armor suggest that the design is somewhat tribal. It did return to the in-game shop in January of this year, but we haven’t seen it since then, and probably won’t for a long time.
The Devi You Know
The Devi You Know skin for Rampart is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that can be crafted for 1200 Crafting Materials, or unboxed via an Apex Pack.
This skin in particular tries to wow you with its flashy and royal color scheme, and in our honest opinion, it works splendidly. Putting aside the beautiful color scheme, “The Devi You Know” skin has an insane amount of detail when you look closely. Trying to find every little carving etched into the armor is a minigame in and of itself. The great part about this skin is that you don’t need to buy it with Apex Coins from the in-game shop, you can simply buy it with crafting materials.
Premium Finish
The Premium Finish skin for Rampart is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that can be crafted for 1200 Crafting Materials, or unboxed via an Apex Pack.
The armor is more or less the same when compared with the conventional Rampart armor. However, this skin seems to be themed around racing, which is great for certain individuals who are into that. Even if you aren’t into racing, the shiny racing blue color scheme is something to behold. This armor can definitely prepare you for a premium finish. You can simply craft this in the Legends Menu for a 1200 Crafting Materials, which is always nice.
Heritage Pride
The Heritage Pride skin for Rampart is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that can be crafted for 1200 Crafting Materials, or unboxed via an Apex Pack.
As you guessed it, the "Heritage Pride" skin is all about heritage pride. Rampart and some of the other legends pride themselves on their heritage. Adding a skin like this was a nice idea, especially because it gets you in tune with the ethnic background and culture of the character you’re playing. There are also plenty of recolors of this skin, but we decided to go with this one for this list.
Feelin Koi
The Feelin Koi skin for Rampart was released as part of the Dark Depths Event in 2023. It’s an Epic skin that can be crafted for 800 Crafting Materials via the Legends Menu, or unboxed via an Apex Pack.
Although similar to the original skin for Rampart, the “Feelin Koi” skin takes a different approach when it comes to the outfit. Given how the name of this skin mentions a fish, the jacket and outfit have been refitted with fish scales that resemble the scales of a Koi fish. It might not be a legendary skin, but it’ll definitely make you stand out more than some of the other Epic skins do. It’s very cheap to craft and offers decent variety.
Daemon Hunter
The Daemon Hunter skin for Rampart is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s an Epic skin that can be crafted for 400 crafting materials, or unboxed via an Apex Pack.
The "Daemon Hunter" line of skins will always be one of the best starting skins that you can buy for a legend. Many of the popular skin designs use a color scheme that contains both bright red and black colors. The "Daemon Hunter" skin takes those and makes a cool skin that you can craft for a lowly sum of 400 Crafting Materials. This skin should’ve honestly been the claimable Twitch Prime Gaming loot for Rampart instead of the one that we got.
Rumble Ready
The Rumble Ready skin for Rampart was released as part of the Apex Legends Season 12 Warriors Collection Event in 2023. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1800 Apex Coins.
The "Rumble Ready" skin for Rampart is one of the most suitable skins of Rampart yet. The design of the armor is very simple and goes for a minimalistic style, and the color scheme really makes the armor shine. We’re used to a lot of clutter on legendary skins, and it’s always nice to have a clean skin like this so that you can appreciate the character for what they are - soldiers. This skin is currently available in the in-game shop, but we’re not sure if it’ll be in the game by the time this article releases.
Crafty Kitsune
The Crafty Kitsune skin for Rampart was released as part of the Apex Legends Season 9 Battle Pass. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been unlocked upon reaching level 25 in the Season 9 Battle Pass.
The theme that Respawn Entertainment went for with the "Crafty Kitsune" is a bit different from the other legendary skins, but it pays perfect homage to the loose outfit her original skin has. The theme seems to be Asian, either Korean or Japanese. Regardless, it’s a great alternative to her original outfit, and will definitely make you stand out in-game. Sadly, this was last featured in the Season 9 Battle Pass, so we’re not sure when it will reappear in the in-game shop.
Cleanup Crew
The Cleanup Crew skin for Rampart was released as part of the Apex Legends Season 10 Emergence Evolution Collection Event in 2021. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1800 Apex Coins.
The "Cleanup Crew" skin is one of the most unique skins in Rampart’s repertoire. It definitely strays farther from Rampart’s usual skin design and goes for a more futuristic look. Most of the skins in the "Emergence Evolution Collection Event" are themed this way, so this isn’t too surprising. We weren’t sure if this much armor would fit Rampart, but given how both her and Gibraltar are defensive legends, it won’t hurt at all. Sadly, it hasn’t returned to the in-game shop since 2021.
Lime Malachite Green
The Lime Malachite Green skin for Rampart was released as part of the Apex Legends Season 12 Anniversary Collection Event in 2023. It’s an Epic skin that could’ve been crafted for 800 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1000 Apex Coins.
Once again, this is a skin that is pretty self-explanatory upon reading the name. The outfit tries to imitate a block of stone that shows cracks of malachite glowing out of it. The entire skin seems to be designed this way, with Rampart’s eyes turning into pure malachite. Players have noticed that all of this gives off a great glow-in-the-dark effect in-game. We’re not sure when or if this will return to the in-game shop.
Metallic Dreams
The Metallic Dreams skin for Rampart is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that can be crafted for 10500 Legend Tokens only if you have the “The Devi You Know” skin for Rampart.
The "Metallic Dreams" skin is a recolor of the “The Devi You Know” skin that we covered earlier in this list. Not everyone might agree with the fact that it’s superior, but it’s definitely a good thing that we got an alternative version of the aforementioned skin. In our opinion, this recolor pronounces the carvings and outfit more than the previous one. We highly recommend crafting this if you have the “The Devi You Know” skin.
If you’re interested in the skins of other legends like Rampart, we’ve made plenty of similar articles that you can take a look at. These are: the top Gibraltar skins in Apex, the top Wattson skins in Apex, the top Lifeline skins in Apex, and none other than the top Caustic skins in Apex.
However, if you’re interested in the skins of any other legends, we’ve compiled an entire list of our top skins in Apex Legends.
There’s nothing better than having a Rampart on your team, so go out there and hold down the fortress in style.
