Find a block of clay

First of all, mine around and find a block of clay. The best place to find clay is under and near water bodies.

Select a Shovel

When you get close to the block of clay, the next step is to dig it up. For this, you need to hold a shovel. You can choose any type of shovel from the list given below.

• Diamond Shovel
• Golden Shovel
• Iron Shovel
• Stone Shovel
• Wooden Shovel

Dig the Block of clay

Now, you have to dig up the block of clay until the clay appears. For this go near the block of clay press and hold the left click with a shovel in your hand. A clay will appear on the spot of the clay block. Drag and drop it into your hot bar.

Note: Make sure you drag the clay into your inventory before it disappears.
