Polished Diorite is an upgraded version of a normal Diorice block in Minecraft. They have a much cleaner texture and still remain the white and noisy from the original Diorice block. To craft one is quite simple, you just need some Diorite.

How to craft Polished Diorite in Minecraft

#1 Collect 4x Diorite

Diorite is a common block that can be generated over the world. You can find them by going mining underground or in caves. Each chunk can generate a maximum of 64x Diorite blocks.

When you’ve found Diorite, just mine it with any pickaxe. It will drop 1x Diorite block.

Diorite can also be crafted by putting 2x Cobblestone and 2x Nether Quartz interleaved to each other in a 2x2 shape. Each recipe will yield 2x Diorite.

#2 Finish off crafting a Polished Diorite

When you have 4x Diorite, just press E to open your inventory and put them in a 2x2 shape to craft 4x Polished Diorite.

You can also use the Stonecutter to cut 1x Diorite into 1x Polished Diorite.

Additionally, you can trade 1x Emerald with the Mason Village for 4x Polished Diorite. They need to be at least at the Journeyman level to have this trade.
