Powered Rail is one of the rail types in Minecraft that can be used to either increase or decrease the speed of the minecart. Powered Rail is quite expensive, that’s why it’s not used so often compared to normal rails.

6x Gold Ingot
1x Stick
1x Redstone Dust

How to craft Powered Rail in Minecraft

#1 Collect 6x Gold Ingot

You can get 1x Gold Ingot by either smelting 1x Gold Ore/Nether Gold Ore/Deepslate Gold ore/Raw Gold in the furnace.

Gold Ingot can be crafted by using 1x Block of Gold or 9x Gold Nugget. They yield 9x or 1x Gold Ingot respectively.

You can also find Gold Ingot in chests. They’re located in most Minecraft structures like Dungeons, Mineshafts, Bastion Remnants, Temples, Shipwrecks, Villages, and more! They usually contain 1-9x Gold Ingot.

Zombified Piglins have a 2.5% chance to drop 1x Gold Ingot, and up to a 5.5% chance with Looting III enchantment.

#2 Collect 1x Stick

You can craft 4x Stick by using 2x Planks of any wood type. Or craft 1x Stick using 2x Bamboo.

Stick can also be obtained by breaking Leaves and Dead Bushes. They drop 0-2x each.

#3 Collect 1x Redstone Dust

Redstone Dust can be obtained by mining Redstone Ore with a pickaxe. They drop 4-5x Dust each.

You can also find Redstone generated naturally in Jungle temples and Woodland Mansions.

If you have 1x Block of Redstone, put it in the crafting grid to get 9x Redstone Dust.

#4 Finish off crafting a Powered Rail

When you have 6x Gold Ingot, 1x Stick, and 1x Redstone Dust, right-click any nearby Crafting Table and put 1x Stick in the slot, then put the Redstone Dust right below it. Finally, add 3x Gold Ingot in both left and right columns to craft 6x Powered Rail.
