How to craft Purple Torch in Minecraft
#1 Collect 1x Torch
Torch is a basic light source in Minecraft which can be easily crafted by using 1x Stick and 1x Coal/Charcoal. You can find Stick by crafting Planks and mining Coal by going up in mountains. Each Stick and Coal/Charcoal yield 4x Torch.
You can also find Torch in looted chests in Villages and Mineshafts. The best way is to look for chests in Mineshafts since they contain 1-16x Torch per chest.
Torch can be generated naturally in the world as well in structures like Villages, Mineshafts, Woodland Mansions, Igloos, Strongholds, and Pillager Outposts. They contain various amounts of Torch.
#2 Collect 1x Potassium Chloride
Potassium is one of the compounds in Minecraft Education Edition. It’s crafted by combining two different elements: Potassium and Chlorine.
When you have the Compound Creator, right-click and place 1x Potassium and 1x Chlorine into it to craft 1x Potassium Chloride.
#3 Finish off crafting a Purple Torch
When you have 1x Torch and 1x Potassium Chloride, simply open your crafting grid and place Potassium on top of the Torch to craft 1x Purple Torch.
