To make a cartography table, you will need to place 2x paper and 4x wood planks into a 3x3 crafting table in a specific manner. Within seconds, you will see a cartography table on the right side of your crafting grid. From where you can move it to inventory.

How To Craft A Cartography Table

#1 Open Your Crafting Table

First of all, open your crafting table so that you can have a 3x3 crafting grid as you can see in the screenshot below.

Just go near your crafting table and right click on it.

However, before moving to the next step make sure you have enough paper and wood planks in your inventory. Choose any type of wood planks you like, such as oak, spruce, jungle, dark oak, birch, acacia, crimson or warped. #2 Add 2x Paper and 4x Wood Planks Into Crafting Table

Now, you will need to place 2x paper and 4x wood planks into a 3x3 crafting grid in a specific pattern. In the very first two boxes of the first row, you should place 2x paper. Next, you should place 2x wood planks in the first two boxes of the second row. Finally, You should place 2x wood planks in the first two boxes of the third row. This will get you a cartography table.

Displacement of paper or wood planks to any other row or box won’t get you a cartography table. So, be careful while placing them.

#3 Move A Cartography Table To Inventory

You will see a cartography table on the right side of your crafting grid as a result of the above process. Now is the time to move it to inventory.

All you have to do is drag and drop it into your inventory.

You can repeat the process again and again to get your desired number of cartography tables.
