Everything you need to make Red Dye
Red Dye is a primary dye color in Minecraft. Although it’s a primary color, farming is pretty easy as long as you have a Beetroot farm, or you’re lucky enough to find a correct Wandering trader.

How to craft Red Dye in Minecraft
#1 Collect 1x Poppy
Poppy is a small red flower that naturally spawned in certain biomes. They are Plains, Sunflower Plains, Forests, Birch Forests, Dark Forests, Flower Forest, and Meadow biome.
You can also find Poppy in Village’s chests. Or by killing an Iron Golem.
#2 Collect 1x Red Tulip
Red Tulip is a tall and thin flower in Minecraft that is generated in Plains, Sunflower Plains, and Flower Forest biome. If you find the right place, you can use Bone Meal to farm them even more.
#3 Collect 1x Beetroot
Beetroot is a new crop in Minecraft. You can only find them in the farmland area in the Village structure.
#4 Collect 1x Rose Bush
Rosh Bush is a two-block tall flower that only can be found by natural generation only. That means you can’t farm them properly.
The only way to farm Rose Bush is to exploit a bug (or feature) from Mojang, where you use Bone Meal to Rose Bush to duplicate them.
#5 Finish off crafting a Red Dye
When you have either 1x Poppy, Red Tulip, Beetroot, just put them in your crafting grid to get 1x Red Dye.
Different than the others, Rose Bush will give you 2x Red Dye.
Another way to get Red Dye directly is to trade with the Wandering traders. They sell 3x Red Dye for 1x Emerald.
