To craft red sandstone slabs, you have to obtain red sand that can be found in the badlands biome. Then, turn the red sand into red sandstone using the crafting table. Use your crafting table again to convert red sandstone into slabs.

• 4x red sand blocks
• 3x red sandstone
• 1x crafting table
• 1x shovel

How to Make Red Sandstone Slab In Minecraft

#1 Get Red Sand

Grab some red sand and get started with crafting red sandstone slabs.

Badlands biome is the perfect place to find red sand, go there and use any tool to obtain the red sand. However, a shovel is recommended for faster mining. Once you obtain the red sand, you can jump into the next step.

#2 Craft Red Sandstone Using Crafting table

Open the crafting table and place 4 red sand blocks collected from the badlands biome in the 3x3 crafting grid. You will get red sandstone that will be used in the next step to craft red sandstone slab.

Note: Place the red sand in the exact same pattern as shown in the image below. 

#2 Convert Red Sandstone to Red Sandstone Slab by Crafting Table

Use the red sandstone you have acquired in the previous step to craft a red sandstone slab. In order to do so, open a 3x3 crafting grid and place 3 red sandstones in the middle row on the left side of the grid.

As a result, you’ll have your red sandstone slab on the right side of the grid within seconds. Repeat step 3 to obtain the desired number of red sandstone slabs for your journey.
