To make stained glass in Minecraft, you have to place 3x glass on the left and right columns of the crafting table. In the middle column, you should place 1x dye color of your choice in the 2nd box. Place the glass on the remaining boxes to get 8x stained glass on the right side of the crafting table

How to craft stained glass

#1 Open Crafting Table

First, go to the crafting table and open it with a right-click. You will have a 3x3 crafting table as you can see in the picture below.

Before you proceed further make sure you have enough material that is needed to kick start the process. For glass, you have to go to the compound creator and mix 5 carbons and 8 hydrogens to get a glass. For a dye, you craft plants or smelting flowers. Once you get these materials, you can proceed further.

#2 Place Material on the Crafting table

The glass should be placed on the first and 3rd rows of the crafting table. On the middle row, first place glass then white dye, and then again glass. This will make the dye in the center with a glass covering from all sides. You will have 8x stained glass on the right side of the crafting table.

Do not displace the items as this is the Minecraft recipe and we can't alter it. Displacement won't get you desired results.

#3 Move stained glass Into Inventory

To use this stained glass you just have to drag and drop and you are good to use them on your fences or mobs.
