Nickmercs Controller Settings
Although he isn't on the main roster of FaZe Clan, Nickmercs is still one of the best Apex controller players currently.
That fact is more than evident from his streams. That mainly stems from two things. First of all, he's a player with years of experience behind him. And second of all, he knows what the best Apex controller binds are. That is how he gets an edge over his opponents.
Controller Setting | Value |
---|---|
Look Sensitivity | 4 |
Aim Down Sigh Sensitivity | 3 |
Menu Cursor Speed | 50% |
As you can see, Nickmercs prefers to use quite a high sensitivity when it comes to his controller settings. A stark contrast to Daltoosh's Apex Settings, which prefers to use a lower sensitivity instead.
Nickmercs Video Settings
When it comes to his video settings, Nickmercs prefers high-FPS to presentation.
This might seem strange, considering the fact that he is one of the best Apex streamers on the planet right now. In that regard, his philosophy is that good gameplay trumps good graphics any day of the week. And for good gameplay, you need a high FPS count.
Video Setting | Value |

One noteworthy thing about Nickmercs' Video Settings is his FOV setting, which he keeps at a confined 110. This is quite zoomed in all things considered. It's great for long-range engagements but can be quite confining when you're having a close-range engagement.
Nickmercs Controller Binds
Finally, we get to the meat and potatoes. This is Nickmerc's secret and the source of all his power!

Nickmercs Gaming Setup
Nickmercs has not one, but two gaming PCs that he uses. One is strictly for gaming, while the other he uses for streaming. Both rigs are absolute beasts though. Just look at the components he uses:
Gaming PC | Streaming PC | Gaming Gear |
---|---|---|

GPU - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 | GPU - Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080Ti | Monitor - BenQ Zowie XL2546K |
Memory - HyperX Predator RGB 64GB | Memory - TEAMGROUP T-Force Xcalibur RGB 32GB | Headset - Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro |
Motherboard - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro | Motherboard - ASRock X570 Taichi | Microphone - Shure SM7B |
SSD - Samsung 960 Pro NVMe 1TB | SSD - Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe 1TB | Webcam - Sony Alpha A5100 |

CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken X72 | Fans - NZXT AER RGB 140mm Kit | |

In a way, it's kind of funny. Because Nickmercs has such a beastly gaming PC, it makes his slightly less beastly streaming PC look like a typewriter. I'm sure most of us would kill to have either of those machines, however. Ah well, I guess we'll just have to wait a bit longer for our FaZe contracts to come in.
