Daltoosh Controller Settings
As was mentioned in the intro, Daltoosh likes to keep his Apex Legends settings flexible yet optimized for pinpoint accuracy. As can be expected of an Apex Predator ranked player such as himself. Playing an FPS with a joystick isn't easy, and you need any advantage you can get.
Daltoosh is one of the best controller players in Apex Legends currently. I mean, come on. He plays for TSM. You don't become a TSM member if you're not at the top of your game constantly. He's also discovered the best controller binds for Apex, which are:
Setting Name | Keybind |
---|---|
Button Layout | Button Puncher |
Stick Layout | Default |
Interact/Reload Button | Tap to Use and Reload |
Aim Button | Toggle |
Survival Slot Button | Off |
L2/R2 Deadzones | Default |
Menu Cursor Speed | 45 |
Look Sensitivity | 3 |
Look Sensitivity (ADS) | 1 |
Per Optic Settings | - |
Response Curve | Linear |
Look Deadzone | None |
Movement Deadzone | Small |
Inverted Look | Disabled |
Vibrations | Off |
The two things that immediately caught my eye with this are his Response Curve and Vibrations. Having Vibrations off is a no-brainer, as they can seriously mess you up, especially in tense situations. A Linear response curve on the other hand is only recommended if you have a really good controller like Daltoosh, as a bad controller is more likely to throw your aim off when it's set to Linear mode.
Daltoosh Video Settings
If you've ever visited Twitch's Apex Legends category, you've probably already encountered Daltoosh once or twice before. He is one of the best Apex streamers after all. Being a streamer, Daltoosh prioritized viewer experience rather than FPS. So, understandably, he raises his settings to the max every time. To be honest, If I had the PC Daltoosh has, I'd dot he same. Ahh, if only.

The perks of having an RTS 3080 and an i9 I guess. This is why I'm a PC Master Race for life. You can't get these eyewatering visuals on a console.
Daltoosh has a beastly rig. You probably shouldn't follow in his footsteps unless you have a beastly rig yourself. And a fast internet connection to boot. The most interesting thing about Daltoosh's Video Settings is the fact that he keeps his FOV at 110, which is exceedingly narrow. But hey, if it works for him it works for him.
Daltoosh's Hardware & Gear
While on the topic of Daltoosh's Apex Legends settings. We absolutely have to discuss his hardware and the gear he uses. The settings Daltoosh uses would be impractical without the proper gear to boot. Here's what Daltoosh currently has in his gaming setup.
Daltoosh's PC Components | Daltoosh's Gaming Hardware |
---|---|
CPU - i9-12900KF | Controller -Scuf Impact Daltoosh Edition |
GPU - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 | Monitor - LG Ultragear 27GN950-B |

God, it's beautiful! I would be a liar if I said I wasn't envious of his setup. Maybe one of these days TSM will accept me and I'll finally be able to afford a similar rig. And if TSM doesn't want me, I'll settle for 100 Thieves.
