What Are The Best FOV Settings For Console & PC
FOV stands for Field of Vision, and is essentially how stretched your vision is - it is how much of the game world you can see on your screen at once. That means a wider FOV setting or high FOV will stretch more of the game world onto the gamer's screen.
Generally speaking, the higher FOV you can comfortably play with the better, but for most players the best independent FOV setting will be somewhere between 95 and 105.
This higher FOV will help you spot players on your peripheral and quickly react, helping you get the kill especially if you have one of the best SMGs in Warzone.
Going past 120 is not recommended, as past unless you have a ridiculously huge screen, players (especially in the distance) will quickly become way too small to see, meaning even with the best sniper loadouts you will struggle to spot people.
Other FOV Settings
For both PC players and console players, you can fiddle around with other minor FOV settings to get the best FOV possible, however these don't matter too much. If you do want to maximise your gameplay, make sure your FOV settings for Warzone are set to:
3rd Person Field of View | 90 |
Vehicle Field of View | Default |
1st Person Camera Movement | Least (50 Percent) |
3rd Person Camera Movement | Least (50 Percent) |
3rd Person Camera Movement | 3rd Person ADS |
1st Person Camera Movement | Game Perspective |
If you're struggling to play with the high FOV settings shown here, simply adjust to a lower FOV slowly until you find the best FOV settings for your Modern Warfare game.
Players can also change their affected FOV, which is essentially the affected ADS field of view, meaning your FOV when aiming down sight. We recommend choosing the wide weapon field of view, at least if you are using our recommended normal FOV settings.
This will help reduce the side of your weapon on your screen, allowing you to see more of your surroundings - this is recommended for both PC players and console players.
