It is really hard to tell how much time you’ll need to become an Immortal. Only 1 or 2 players out of 100 will ever be able to make it into the Immortal category. An interesting thing about the Immortal tier is that most players who reach it will do so within a year or two. Others will be a part of the Immortal category from the get-go. This is because grinding itself will not guarantee that you will get into it.

Ways to improve in Immortal

Even if you’re the best of the best, there are always things that you can do better. At this point, the game usually revolves around knowledge and adopting the newest strategy. If you wish to progress through this tier and potentially become a professional gamer, here are some of the things you need to consider

  • You should have a scrapbook with various strategies that would complement your hero.
  • You should only play when you’re 100%.
  • If you’re not good with a specific hero that is popular in the current meta, play unranked games until you master it.
  • Start developing relationships with other players and teams.
  • Be available for communication if one of the teams or players decides to contact you.
  • Create your own Twitch channel to attract more attention.
