Best E-Sport Players in Fortnite

TaySon

Tai Starčič, known as TaySon, is a top ranked Fortnite competitive player from the EU region. TaySon was signed on to play with the Falcons Esports EU team on July 1st 2021. Before playing for Falcon Esports, TaySon played for Guild Esports. TaySon is a four time Fortnite FNCs champion, so it’s tough to dispute he’s amongst the top tier of Fortnite Players.

TaySon’s most recent Fortnite victory was towards the end of the 2021 Fortnite competitive season. TaySon placed first in the FNCs championship alongside other Fortnite pro players Hen and Chapix. Hen and Chapix were the Fortnite FNCs champions back in Fortnite Season 5 of Fortnite Chapter 1. Keep an eye on TaySon, he still has a lot to offer the Fortnite pro community in the coming years.

Cented

We couldn’t mention Psalm without diving into his Duos partner Cented. Evan Barron, known as Cented is amongst the top Fortnite Competitive players in North America West, and maybe even the world! Cented plays Fortnite competitively for the Team Liquid organization. Team Liquid is involved in other competitive games like League of Legends, DOTA 2 and Street Fighter.

Along with being a member of Team Liquid, Cented has also done a run with the FaZe Clan, which we’ve mentioned many times before. Cented isn’t just notable for the teams he’s on. Cented has also placed highly in tournaments like the Chapter 3 Fortnite Season 1 Cash Cup, Duo Fortnite Champion Series Qualifier, and many more! Psalm

Psalm is another of the top placements in the Fortnite World Cup. Psalm was the second place finisher in the Fortnite World Cup Solos event, beating out a player count of 98. Psalm’s esports Fortnite skills span far past the Solo World Cup placement. Psalm also has an impressive Duos track record with another pro Fortnite competitive player, Cented. Rojo

Rojo was a runner-up for the 2019 Fortnite World Cup in the Duos category. Rojo teamed up with another Fortnite competitive player, Wolfiez to try and take a top space at the Fortnite World Cup. Unfortunately, Rojo and Wolfiez placed second behind Nyhrox and Aqua. However, Rojo and Wolfiez still took home over $2 million dollars in winnings from the Fortnite World Cup prize pool.

The teamwork involved in placing top 3 in a Fortnite Duos World Cup is unimaginable. The cohesiveness shown between Rojo and Wolfiez puts them comfortably on the list of best Fortnite players. Even just qualifying for a spot in the Fortnite World Cup is impressive enough!

Magin

Max Merrien, known as Magin in the Fortnite esports world is a professional Fortnite player from the EU. Magin is a member of Lithuanian based esports team, Team Atlantis. Team Atlantis is an EU competitive Fortnite esports team which has signed some of the top Fortnite payers in the EU region to compete in the World Cup.

Magin is pictured on the left above, after winning the Fortnite Polaris Duo Tournament in 2018 for Team Atlantis. Pulling out multiple tournament dubs since 2018 Magin is easily in the running for best Fortnite player, especially when looking at the competitive Fortnite scene in the EU where Magin stands above most.

EpikWhale

EpikWhale is the NA West version of Mero, the current top player in the region. EpikWhale is a member of the Fortnite competitive team NRG. NRG is a massive esports organization based in North America. Along with Fortnite NRG has professional teams in major games like Apex Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and many many more. EpikWhale also placed second right behind Bugha in the Fortnite World Cup.Along with a World Cup top 3 placement, EpikWhale closed off Fortnite Chapter 2 successfully with a cash cup placement.

Unfortunately, EpikWhale couldn’t quite sneak out a top placement, but instead took home a cash prize with a second place position in the Solo Cash Cup. Some interesting trivia on EpikWhale is that his tool of choice is a controller, rather than a mouse and keyboard like most players in competitive Fortnite. Playing with a controller and managing a top placement in the World Cup, as well as consistent placements in other tournaments make EpikWhale a contender for best Fortnite player.

TNA Mero

TNA Mero is the current top ranked player in NA East, with almost $400,000 in prize winnings from Fortnite competitive. TNA Mero is a member of the North American pro team Team New Age. Mero’s most recent tournament dub was when he was teams with a familiar name, Bugha. Mero and Bugha teamed up to snag a top placement in the Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 3 Season 1.

Being the most recent champ, and having a long track record of competitive Fortnite wins, Mero easily makes the list of the best Fortnite players. Since Mero is the most recent FNCs champion in NA East he received the Fortnite FNCs champion pickaxe. Ninja

Tyler Blevins, known as Ninja was another Fortnite player who rose to popularity in the OG days of Fortnite competitive. Ninja didn’t quite hit the half a million mark that Tfue and Cloakzy hit. Ninja’s highest paying tournament placement was in the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Finals, where Ninja took home almost $75,000. You may remember from earlier, Bugha took home the major prize money from the 2019 Fortnite World Cup.

While Ninja may not have brought home millions playing competitively, he has had major success streaming. Ninja even held the record for most viewers on a Twitch stream back when Fortnite was at its height of popularity. Tfue

Turner Tenney, known as Tfue is yet another Fortnite competitive player in the running for best Fortnite player of all time. Tfue has drifted from his Fortnite competitive career in recent years, favoring other popular games like Call of Duty Warzone, and Apex Legends. However, Tfue still has an impressive Fortnite career to explore.

Tfue joined FaZe Clan at a similar time to Cloakzy, and the two of them dominated the competitive scene for some time. Most notably, Tfue and Cloakzy took home half a million dollars at the Fortnite Fall Skirmish Grand Finals. Tfue has also gained thousands more from other top placements in Fortnite tournaments, making him arguably the best Fortnite player of all time.

Cloakzy

Dennis Lepore, known as Cloakzy is in the running for the best Fortnite player of all time. Cloakzy used to be a member of the FaZe Clan Fortnite competitive team, up until May 2020. FaZe Clan started as a Call of Duty sniping clan back in 2010. Since 2010 FaZe Clan has spanned well beyond Call of Duty with pro teams in most popular games like Pub G, Fifa, Fortnite, and Valorant.

The most impressive spree of wins Cloakzy embarked on was the Friday Fortnite weekly tournaments for $20,000 each. Cloakzy, along with other pro player Tfue won 4 out of the first 9 Friday Fortnite events. With plenty of other Fortnite Battle Royale tournament wins, you can’t deny Cloakzy is amongst the best Fortnite pros in the game.

Bugha

It would be tough to compile a list of the best Fortnite pro players without mentioning Kyle Giersdorf, known as Bugha in the Fortnite community. Bugha placed first in the 2019 Fortnite World Cup. Since his victory Bugha has gained major notoriety in the Fortnite competitive scene.

Winning a tournament as significant as the 2019 Fortnite World Cup automatically puts Bugha in the running for the best Fortnite player of all time.
