The artist started playing Fornite in the beginning of 2018; a few months later, in March, he played with Tyler Belvins, also known as Ninja, a popular Fortnite Twitch streamer and one of the best Fortnite players. This stream ended up reaching well over 600k viewers; it was a stream that everyone on the internet had likely known about, or at least had seen.

Following this, Fortnite added an emote paired with one of the songs Drake is well-known for, Hotline Bling. In addition to that, an item named “Drake’s Map” was added to the game as well; this item could help players find and collect a surprise treasure.
