Can I Gift the Battle Pass With V Bucks?
Unfortunately, you can not gift Battle Passes with V Bucks in Fortnite. You can only gift the Fortnite Battle Pass using money transactions.
Epic Games doesn't allow players to gift the Battle Passes with V Bucks, because they wouldn't make any money. Since you earn more V Bucks in the Battle Passes than you spend on them, if you could gift Battle Passes only one player would ever need to purchase the Battle Pass, then all their friends could get it for free.
How Much Does Gifting the Fortnite Battle Pass Cost?
The Fortnite Battle Passes costs the same to send in a gift box as it does to purchase for yourself from Epic Games, the equivalent of 950 V Bucks.
Since you can't gift Battle Passes using V Bucks, the cost of gifting Battle Passes is roughly equal to the amount it would cost to purchase 950 V Bucks.
Does the Battle Pass Always Cost the Same Amount?
On top of the Battle Passes costing the same to send or purchase for yourself, the Battle Passes also cost the same amount of V Bucks every Fortnite Chapter and season. Meaning the future new season Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass will cost the same as the one from Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, and that Battle Pass costed the same as last season, and that Battle Pass costed the same as the Battle Pass from OG Fortnite season's like Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5.
Speaking of OG Fortnite season's, check out. Fortnite Skins Only OG Players Own for a glimpse into some past season Battle Pass skins that dominated Battle Royale.
We love the consistent pricing Epic Games utilizes on the Battle Passes across Fortnite Chapters because it allows players to budget enough V Bucks to always be able to purchase the next Season's new Battle Passes.
