Best Aatrox Skins | LoL
Aatrox the Darkin Blade has a variety of unique skins that give him a brand new look as he fights his way up the lanes. Here are some of his best skins currently available in League of Legends.
Aartox was released in 2013 with the V3.8 update with his normal base skin and the rather popular Justicar Aatrox skin. He's not a mechanically advanced LoL champion but he can be tricky to learn. Despite this, Aatrox the Darkin Blade can be worth learning and he's had a relatively strong presence in competitive League of Legends.
Considering Aartox is a damage-dealing Juggernaut, he gets to spend a lot of time fighting the enemy and showing off at the same time. This is why we've made a list of the best Aatrox skins in League of Legends.
Justicar Aatrox was one of the first Aatrox skins added to the game. It was released alongside Aatrox when the new champion was introduced into the game. The Justicar Aatrox skin depicts the usually 'dark' champion in a brighter and more heroic light.
It's unique compared to the other skins available for him and he even gets a nice crown on his head when using his Ultimate.
It costs 975 RP so while it's not the most expensive Aatrox skin in LoL, it's not the cheapest either.
Released in 2014, the Mecha Aatrox skin does exactly as the name suggests.
It turns the Darkin Blade into a mechanical version of himself while sporting a robotic themed glowing sword to go with it. This is one of the most expensive skins for him in the game, costing 1350 RP.
The Odyssey Aatrox skin was released in 2020 and almost looks inspired by both the classic superhero villains Darkseid and Thanos.
The skin costs 1350 RP from the LoL store and Chroma versions are available at additional cost. Complete with a mostly golden glove and a golden crown on his head.
Riot Games introduced the Odyssey Aatrox skin to League of Legends as an Epic Skin which means it's rather costly.
Unlike the others on our list, it's not possible to purchase the Victorious Aatrox skin. This was an exclusive reward for all League players who reached the Gold rank or higher in five-vs-five or three-vs-three game modes before the end of the 2019 season. In addition to this, the player also needs to have level two Honor or higher to get this new skin.
The Victorious Aatrox skin gives him a shiny golden look that will make any Aatrox player jealous if they don't have it for some reason. While it may look similar to the Justicar Aatrox skin, the Victorious skin is much shinier and looks more 'premium'.
Riot Games have added some very unique skins for Aatrox to League of Legends over the years which give him a whole new feel. However, he still lacks other dark-themed skins that highlight his underlying story of vengeance. For players who dislike the brighter themed skins, it's probably best to just stay with his base skin instead!
There are a variety of other fantastic skins across the different League of Legend champions of course. If you're looking to spend some RP on a new cosmetic and dislike the options for Aatrox then consider taking a look at our Ahri skin list next.
