How to craft Black Stained Glass in Minecraft

#1 Collect 8x Glass

Glass can be obtained by smelting Sand or Redsand in the Furnace. Each one of them yields 1x Glass.

You can also trade 1x Emerald with the Librarian villager for 4x Glass. They have to be at least at the Journeyman level to have this trade.

#2 Collect 1x Black Dye

You can craft 1x Black Dye by putting 1x Ink Sac in the crafting grid. Ink Sac can be obtained by killing Squid.

If you have 1x Wither Rose, put it in the crafting grid to get 1x Black Dye also.

Additionally, you can trade 1x Emerald with the Wandering Trader for 3x Black Dye.

#3 Finish off crafting a Black Stained Glass

When you have 8x Glass and 1x Black Dye, right-click a Crafting Table and put the Black Dye in the middle grid, and surround it with 8x Glass to craft 8x Black Stained Glass.
